Both. Most of these celebrities are highly immature to begin with - Hollywood is the land of make-believe and special effects - where even REAL talent nowadays is a rare commodity...that's why they're drawn to the industry - precisely because it is NOT real.

So it just makes sense that these immature types would be duped by a make-believe president and the utopian propaganda that he constantly spews.

And yes, it is scary. Thank God for Jon Voigt, Clint Eastwood, Jon Lovitz, James Caan, Sylvester Stalone, and the other sane people left in Hollyweird.

Hollywood has always lean to the left. They are counter culture. Most are a bunch of misfits.

They are just reading the lines given to them. Not very many of them have an original thought of their own.

Barry courts them. He invites them to the Whitehouse and sends a plane to pick them up. He has countless parties for them, maybe once a week. They become enamored with the glitz of the power of the Whitehouse, Most of them have no idea of real politics or the depth of the issues. They are definitely not brain surgeons by any means so they believe he must be a nice guy. Because of this they support him. If they knew the truth things would be different. I heard a hollywood correspond referring to George Clooney as not being terribly deep thinking. I think this was his way of saying he is not very bright.

Of course they're brainwashed. Aside from the politicians, they're some of the most influential people in this country.
