I understand the point, but I think that with so many issues each congressman is expected to deal with, it is essential to divvy up some of this stuff. Plus the mutual support.

If anyone would bother to actually look into the facts you would learn that there is a Latino caucus and an Asian one. There is pretty much a caucus for every group you can think of.
