LOL!! Here we go again; I'm glad you finally looked it up. "In 1991 bet became the first completely black owned company in the ny stock Exchange." Shocker isn't it and still some people are complaining. He sold it to VIACOM which is the head and owns BET.
"Viacom Inc. (NASDAQ: VIA, VIAB), short for "Video & Audio Communications", is an American global mass media company with interests primarily in, but not limited to, cinema and cable television. As of 2010, it is the world's fourth-largest media conglomerate, behind The Walt Disney Company, Time Warner and News Corporation. Viacom is owned in majority by National Amusements, Inc., a privately owned theater company based in Dedham, Massachusetts, USA.[2][3][4][5] National Amusements holds another controlling stake in CBS Corporation."
"The current Viacom was created on December 31, 2005 as a spinoff from CBS Corporation, which changed its name from Viacom to CBS at the same time. Viacom operates approximately 170 media networks reaching more than 600 million global subscribers and more than 500 branded digital media properties."
"VIACOM does, because they have the last say as to how BET is run and approval of what is played. You really don't know how the private sector works."
"I work at a company; the CEO of that company is White and the owner of the Company is from Korea. The CEO has to listen and get approval from the owner, so BET as I stated is owned and ran by VIACOM."
I've disproved you early on...you tried to say that bet is run by whites and controlled by 95%of white people...that's just not true...Viacom is owned by a white guy now but bet is not run by him

Yes, idiots did vote for morons in 2000 and 2004, fortunately they didn't have the votes to put them in office. I don't know what happened in 2008, there must of been some grand idiot revival to put Obama in.
LMAO... I say boy... this idiot doesn't know when he's a moron!
Just sayin kitty!... (wink!)..
Here ya go boy... maybe you can figure out a couple of these...
foghorn Leghorn: What's the big... I say, what's the big idea chasin' my worm? You're a cat, son. Cat's don't eat worms. You're takin' the food right outta my mouth! I don't go around chasin' mice! [knocks the cat down]
Foghorn Leghorn: Stand up boy, you're trippin' over your own feet. Now you stay away from worms and I'll stay away from mice. That's fair and square, and if you'd stop all your arguin' and jawin', you'd see my side of it! [pushes the cat up a ladder]
Foghorn Leghorn: Yap-yap-yap, keep that mouth flappin' and do no listenin'. [the cat falls off the ladder]
Foghorn Leghorn: There's nothin' worse than a blabber-mouth cat!
Common ground, agreed. That's why I tend not to talk politics with customers or people I don't know that well. Politics is such a heated thing and seems to be more polarizing now than it has been.
Proper intro, Darthtbone: I like the idea of a smaller, less intrusive government. Stronger regulation, not more regulation. I lean social libertarian. On economics I prefer Hayek over Keynes. I want to keep more the stuff I earn. Being as I don't like big government, I don't like big business either, having seen how both have a tendency to bleed everyone else dry. I want everyone to succeed, but recognize that not everyone can be an astronaut. And there is no shame in the day to day hard work people do.
On a side note, I think America went really wrong when we started denigrating the manual labor jobs, "you don't want to be flipping burgers do you?" Now we have a ton of MBA's who are unemployed, defaulting on loans because they are too good to get their hands dirty.
Finally, I am a Christian; and to me that means following the golden rule, "do unto others as you would have done unto you." And no I am not perfect.

Yet you whine over a station not even owned by Black Americans nor do the people that run it make the final decision. Hilarious.
You said Viacom doesn't own BET.
They do, just like they own about 80% of all US cable stations.
You were wrong.
That is all.
