The sanctions in place are hurting Iran seriously and it won't be long until the Iranians rebel against their government as did the Egyptians and the Syrians.

Whether you like it or not, the US does not run the world. America stands for the citizens of a country deciding how to run their own affairs via free elections. Just because a Muslim Brotherhood leader won election in Egypt doesn't mean that the US handed over control to a terrorist group. The terrorist label was leveled by Mubarrak since they resisted his dictatorship.

Syria ai a far different matter since Assad went whacko from the get-go. Personally I think the US should take him out with a drone or two. However, in Syria, there is no clearly defined leader of the rebellion. It is better that we quietly support the rebels with weapons and let the Syrians hash it out. Regretable but better.
