Hey! Who's been tending Michelle Obama's veggie garden?

I have not seen or heard mention of the Obama's veggie garden since it was first dug, so I wonder who's tending it. Any clown with sense to crack a book know's gardening takes work, and that means more than just photo op time out there.

Between weeding and pruning a productive garden takes care, especially if you refuse to use pesticides, which I believe the First Lady decried as she posed for the garden Ground Breaking ceromony. I don't have a huge plot but I still have to put in at least an hour or two per day just to keep weeds from taking over. Checking for various pests like cut worms and other critters that enjoy a nice cuccumber or ear of corn means finding the buggers Before they get into the veggy, not after. Few people want a half eaten tomato.


So I'm asking the SH community, have any of you seen Michelle Obama in her garden lately? Are Jose and Jesus doing it for her?

Yes I know she is the First lady, doing her duty to keep hubby employeed. Meeting with important donors and taking vacations around the world. But she spent a fair bit of energy telling us all how important and beneficial growing our own food is. So I think it is fair to discover how much time she has spent feeding her family from her garden.
