I think it's actually Obama's 51st birthday, and I hope he is no longer president when he celebrates his 52nd birthday. I firmly intend to vote for Romney. But I would strongly advise considerably more restraint in creating graphics advocating the "frying" or "stewing" of Obama, as in the graphic below. This kind of gross graphic is offensive and out of line, in my opinion. The implied violence is really objectionable and revolting.

I am as opposed to (scared of, would be more accurate) Obama's re-election as anyone can be, but I think this graphic is slightly nauseating, in poor taste, a bit sophomoric, and going too far. Our American system calls for simply not re-electing a weak president, not for decapitating him. I object to the implied or intended violence toward Obama or any human being exhibited here. This gross graphic just might have the opposite of its intended effect by actually generating some sympathy for Obama. Let's defeat Obama's re-election according to the rule of law by voting for Romney while respecting Obama's right to life under our Constitution. If our system degenerates to point that violence against candidates is tolerated and considered humorous, our national system will be indistinguishable from those of the many historical and current dictatorships.

In Every Election on both sides.... you know as well as I do that people are always poking fun of each other and even Late Night Talk shows and their beginning jokes do the same thing.
You just have to take humor and try to find funny things in politics because politics are nuts. I don't worry about the election either way because No matter what we many do.... God is still in Control. He raises up kings and He can remove them as well.

I thought it was rather funny myself. and some photos are I would agree tasteless but for the most part all of them posted here has a lot of truth to them.

Yes, God is in ultimate control; but as far as I know, God would not advocate intentions of random violence of humans toward another human even if the victim of that violence seems to be the embodiment of evil personified. My concept of God does not include divine approval of "baking," "frying," or "stewing" of a human being by other human beings. I don't find humor in suggestions of violence, and I suspect that God's sense of humor would not include this kind of violence since he has said, "Thou shalt not kill." I think that the person who posted the graphic did not have harmful intentions, but more judgment and common sense is needed here.

Yes, I agree that humor has a place and having fun is positive, but I just think that care should be taken to avoid being offensive in any way with humor. Your birthday cake concept is humorous, and I did laugh at that. And I'm sure that no one is really thinking about violence, but even suggesting or hinting at it is not a good idea because many, including me, do not find any glorification of violence to be in good taste. Making light of violence is offensive to many. It seems impossible to find humor in violence.
