Hey, America: Do you think it is bad now in re: of jobs and taxes? ‘An Astounding Admission’ From Democrat Leaders - they must GO! Vote those bums out of their Bizarro world and office this November! Let's take back our Country; one Demo at a time!
Jul 23,2012 “Last week, in response to another disappointing month of job growth, President Obama issued a truly bizarre ultimatum: let me raise taxes on a million businesses, or I’ll raise taxes on everybody."
Washington, D.C.– U.S. Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell made the following remarks on the Senate floor regarding the Democrats’ unserious approach to dealing with the failed Obama economy and upcoming massive tax hikes:
“Last week, in response to another disappointing month of job growth, President Obama issued a truly bizarre ultimatum: let me raise taxes on a million businesses, or I’ll raise taxes on everybody.
“But yesterday, Democrat leaders in Congress took this strange economic theory — whereby politicians purport to help job creation by hurting job creators — to dizzying new heights.
“Yesterday, Senate Democrat leaders said they would actually prefer to see America go off the so-called ‘fiscal cliff’ in January, along with the trauma that would unleash on our economy, than let these businesses maintain their existing tax rates.
“It was an astounding admission, so allow me to repeat it: Democrats in Congress are now saying that they would rather see taxes go up on every American at the end of the year than let about a million businesses keep what they earn now.
“This isn’t an economic agenda, it’s an ideological crusade.
“This morning, Ernst & Young is releasing a study which shows that President Obama’s plan to raise taxes on these businesses will result in 710,000 fewer jobs.
“For those who manage to keep their jobs, real after-tax wages would fall by an estimated 1.8 percent, meaning living standards would decline as government sucks more capital out of the economy. The President’s proposal, in other words, is a recipe for economic stagnation and decline.
“But the Murray proposal — the idea that we should raise taxes on everybody — is even worse. Not only would it likely trigger another recession, it would put the global economy at risk.
“The Democrats’ theory is that a massive income tax increase on 140 million American taxpayers wouldn’t be so bad because the effects wouldn’t be felt right away.
“This bizarre conclusion can only be reached by politicians and budget analysts who have never worked a day in the private sector, who don’t understand what goes into cutting a paycheck for your employees, and who don’t have a concept of the planning that is necessary when you are operating a business on thin margins in a tough economy.
“This shows how out of touch these people are, to rely on the analysis of Ivy Tower liberals instead of listening to the jobs groups that have been pleading with us to fix this problem sooner rather than later, and end the uncertainty that is acting like a big wet blanket over the economy.
“Today, another non-partisan group, the Business Roundtable, urged Congress to adopt the Republican plan to extend current tax law for a year and make a bridge to tax reform.
“In a letter to Congress, the group’s Chairman, Boeing CEO James McNerney, warned that ‘Without effective action soon, this uncertainty will spawn a dangerous crisis, threatening our economy, businesses and workers.’ WhatRepublicans have been saying is that we should eliminate this uncertainty now. Eliminate the uncertainty that Boeing employees — nearly 85,000 of whom work in Washington State — and so many others are facing right now.
“Tackle these problems now, rather than waiting until the end of the year.
“Let me boil it down. Faced with the slowest economic recovery in modern times, chronic joblessness, and the lowest percentage of able-bodied Americans actually participating in the workforce in decades, “The Democrats’ theory is that a massive income tax increase on 140 million American taxpayers wouldn’t be so bad because the effects wouldn’t be felt right away.
“We can do better. I know we can. And so do the American people.” ~Senator Mitch McConnell
Oh, I know there will be Naysayers, but this cannot be refuted! Let's rock any Demoncrat out of office that supports this anti-American 'ideology'. After all, they are here to serve US and it is quite evident that the only ones making dough re mi these days are those with government positions or the phonies screwing up our Nation with bizarre threats [more taxes, take away more of our rights to pursue their Socialist agenda] against their own constituents and America. These political hacks are paid good money for barely working as it is, are you going to stand for this? Heck no, I say. Give them hell this November! Call, write a letter, email and let these idiots know that their term is up as well. Megas!
As always, please feel free to leave a comment. As for naysayers: TRUTH HURTS. Thanks!
The Committee on Ways and Means corroborates Ernst & Young's report: See link provided below for the committee's findings and that they believe this New Report Confirms Obama Tax Hike Bad for Small Business
In a way, this is refreshing. Finally, the lefties are admitting they want America to fall and 0bama is the despicable tyrant undermining our nation's foundation!
How apropos is that? Disgusting and true, too! Thanks for sharing this with me. You should post that in the group! I can just imagine the comments on that one! Good Morning~ ; )
Oh, yeah, hailing from Chi, I have had plenty of experience in politics including working for some heavy hitters, we are very savvy out here and can't stand that punk Usurper. So glad to have others as yourself know what is going on. The kook-aid sheep are so ignorant and scared of us out here, they never prevail. It's OUR city, not theirs and we let them know. hehehe! Really, I am not scared of anyone - Parents brought me up RIGHT! hhahahaha! Their only defense on this site is name-calling, I dare any of those punk wiberals to come out here, hell, you call a hardcore Democrat a liberal out here, and that's AN insult. Go figure, but they abhor poseur wiberals online and from other states. We are a hardcore bunch whether we hate each other's politics or not, we still get along. I personally know a couple hundred that were into the Fraud, and they can't stand IT. They suffer, too and will not vote for the POS. You should hear what folks say on mass transit. NOT good for Oblunder, and that's a great thing. You know and I know that the wiberals on this site are pansy asses that spew hatred and they are scared. Good!
If a republican becomes a president, the democrats will make sure he doesn't succeed. If a democrat becomes a president, the republicans will do the same.
Republicans will make sure that president gets little to nothing done or passed. Not even giving a chance to review some things and then say "Okay.this is not happening!" or "This is a good idea!" That's how this cut-throat battle goes for both parties.
I see both parties so apt to destroying each other, it's ridiculous. Why is it so hard to look at each others idea and then come up with a compromise that works best. The Republicans don't want to agree with the democrats and the democrats don't want to agree with the republicans. Even if they do reach a compromise, they give each other the dirty look or prepare each other in case something happens, they can have something to put blame on each other. In my opinion nothing really gets done because of all this tension, pride, ego, and hate. People are still suffering, the economy is still bad, and our national debt to China is still too high.
Obama STARTED his Presidential term with TWO years of ONE party rule.. During that time it didn't MATTER what the intentions were of the Republicans,, the ONLY time he didn't get ALL he wanted exactly how he wanted it was when DEMOCRATS broke ranks and voted against him such as was the cdase with single payer..
During his ONE Party Rule EVERY economic indicater in existance clearly showed that the more Obama got,, the WORSE off America became..
The Republicans take back a BARE majority in the house,, JUST enough to put an END to Obama's destructive policies and things improve if ONLY a little bit and Obama wants to blame Republican obstructionism for his failures""
I think that America has had enough of Obama's "Bart Simpson" excuses..
And if Mitch McConnell only tells the truth. Somehow I doubt Obama even said anything remotely like this since most of what comes out of McConnell's mouth is lies anyway. This guy conspired with a dozen or so other Republican congressmen to destroy the Obama presidency before it had even begun by vowing to not allow any Democratic bills to pass the House or Senate and he and the Republicans have kept that promise by filibustering just about everything.
So just how does raising taxes on a business owner hurt business. Taxes on businesses were very very high until Ronald Reagan decided to slash them and start the US on the path of a high national debt. When tax rates are high on businesses, businesses, rather than realize profits where the CEO or owner takes the money out of the business and puts it into a Swiss bank account, but instead pours money back into the business. He would improve the business by hiring more people, expanding facilities, buying new equipment. This helps the economy, the workers, and the business. When the wealthy take the profits and run, that money is essentially out of the economy and is no longer working doing anything except making the bank account larger.
Lets hope most vote with common sense this time around and not out of guilt that they will be considered racist if they don't vote for the black man...
Yes, because we have republicans/conservatives who like to bitcch and moan about undocumented immigrants stealing our jobs and Obama not creating jobs in the US., yet they're the ones blocking bills that would penalize outsourcing and reward insourcing.
http://www.cnn.com/2012/07/19...
a bill that tries to promote more job creation within the US (by giving tax breaks to job creators and removing tax breaks for outsourcers). The very things republicans asked for,and what do epublicans say? "But, see outsourcing is good for America." "America doesn't need jobs it needs ideas" "
This post totally distorts the real truth in this matter. The fact is - that tax breaks on the first $250,000 income of EVERYONE - Including the rich - includes 97% of American small businesses. So it would not be raising taxes on the "job creators" as Romney and the Republicans try to claim.
Secondly, if President Obama has to let ALL the Bush unpaid for TEMPORARY tax cuts expire - then FINE. Let them ALL expire. Then the Democrats will go back with bills to lower the tax rate on the first $250,000 of all Americans. Now - let's see the Republicans vote in a NO block against that! Don't you get it? Geez.
Here is a comparison of the actual tax rate plans of Romney and President Obama. Quit buying into the Neo-Con spin/lies. Lower tax rates for the rich didn't create jobs for all of Bush's term, why should they magically start creating jobs now? BS.
Then go complain to the Committee on the Ways and Means, pallie. Your graphs prove nothing, and if you don't believe this post, then I suggest you contact Senator Mitch McConnell as he is the one that addressed this issue on the senate floor and the author to wit. Evidently, you did not read this post, nor did you read the links provided. You are so ignorant that you will call your own party (Demos) liars? Thanks for the laugh!
Additionally, if you are so smart with your bogus graphs and think that you are an analyst from Ernst & Young: you can disagree with their report with them. Not here with your bogus unsubstantiated graphs. Boo on you.
Let me educate you as to who is on the committee, pallie:
Thanks for stopping by, Mr. Steve~
Have a wonderful day! I intend on doing so ! How did you know my favorite drink ever? I am having a great iced tea right now! Yay!

When the Left took Congress and the Senate in the 06 elections, the dems didn't do anything to help Bush and we all know the economy went south.
On the other hand, when Republicans won the House and Senate in the 94 elections, they
GAVE CLINTON HIS LAST 6 BUDGETS, they worked.
Article 1, Section 8 of the Constitution spells it out.
