The vast majority of Americans are aware of the success of the Bin Laden mission, and according to the polling, view the President favorably for his participation in the killing of Bin Laden. Due to the politicization of this event, there is little doubt in anyone mind as to the role President Obama played in this mission, since he has since elevated himself to the status of hero of the mission in order to gain the favor of American voters.
