    I have a habit of leaning over a little bit when greeting or shaking hands with people who are of shorter statue than I. It's a natural inclination that has nothing to do with genuflecting. It does look a little awkward though. So grow up.

    Really!! The way I see it giving proper respect to another leader isnt a problem at all unless you some gung ho neo-con that has the hubristic idea that the President is the equivalent to GOD. So what if you dont have to its a nice gesture anyway that cost nothing and gives alot.

    Really!!!! So why don't you see a picture of the Mexican President bowing to the POTUS? Because protocal says he doesn't do that - that he, too, is on equal footing with leaders of other countries. No where did I say a political leader of any country is equivalent to God, and if it was a 'nice gesture' then all leaders of all countries would be doing to all the time to other leaders as a form of respect, but since they don't.......
