I know that America is still to affraid to address the issues involving race, but I am sure that everyone can agree that we do still have a lot of hang-ups. I'm not affraid to question the questions, and I know that there will be some negativity thrown my way. BRING IT!

I find the people who make the most inane generalized statements are not worth my time. Many of the doltish comments fits that profile, as for interracial relations to each their own.

I'm a fan of MLK's theory about a society that's color blind when it comes to skin. Blending everyone into a shade of "gray" seems almost like a cop-out, but the alternatives don't seem to be working.

My ex a Black Woman descended from slaves and the Gen De Coloure LIbre and our biracial kids could would think the interracial dating is ok. As would my SO for the last 11 years who is Black, and Native American.

I think that they are accepted evenly, You may see that pairing less often, so when you see it you may notice it more, But I think the vast majority of people in the US think it is absolutely fine.

I can't make a safe call on this one only because I see far less black women with white men than black men with white women. I wouldn't say either is exactly accepted with open arms though. I have no problem with either, and actually I find it adorable to see a BW & WM together, and wish we seen it more.

There are so many factors that play a part here. One big one is the area in which the two are from, I think that makes a difference on acceptance or not.

I'm starting to wonder if some people are tired of not seeing any real racism and they hope if they post questions like this enough they'll find some lurking here or there to make their own racism legitimate. I've noticed quite the opposite. Where I live there is extreme poverty right next to fantastic wealth, I'm in the lesser mid-zone. I see lots of couples and from what I personally notice, and this is in no way a rule nor would I suggest that ever but, more often than the opposite I see the relationships between black males and white females being more stricken with despair, and more fraught with addiction. The white guy/black gal combo seems to go smoother, and I know plenty of mixed families to not be talking out of my booty.
