TYRANNY IN AMERICA PART II
I did a post about the fourth branch of Government that operates outside the limits of the Constitution. In part, I laid out the discussion that Federal agencies have unconstitutional powers via Rules & Regulations that they make. NOT Congress. http://www.sodahead.com/united-states/what-is-the-real-tyrann...
Does Congress even have the authority to give that control to government agencies that live in perpetuity? The Presidential Executive Order that was never more than a memo has now become LAWS. The EPA telling Congress what laws to write!
My point? That this CAN and HAS happened.
Abraham Lincoln said:
"Our safety, our liberty, depends upon preserving the Constitution of the United States as our fathers made it inviolate. The people of the United States are the rightful masters of both Congress and the courts, not to overthrow the Constitution, but to overthrow the men who pervert the Constitution. "
Our nation, our very way of life is, and has been under attack for decades.
This written in 1994:
"Confronted with the political fact that to deal with the problems faced in the last half of the 20th century, it was difficult enough to pass legislation thought to be needed, without having to also adopt the amendments to the U.S. Constitution necessary to make such legislation constitutional, it became too easy to just adopt more and more legislation without worrying about its constitutionality, and depend on compliant officials and judges to go along with it, which for the most part, they have done.
This was facilitated by the lack of sufficiently strong protests from the people, many of whom, ignorant of constitutional rights and limitations on governmental powers, and focused on the problems to be solved, supported much of the legislation. What we have is in many ways a classic oligarchy, with multiple components in an uneasy alliance with one another. "
I agree we already have an Oligarchy and just steps away from Socialism, or whatever you want to call it. Certainly a "transformation" of America. Freedom lost is lost forever.
While I agree health care needs reform I contend that government is not, nor has it ever been the answer. Almost daily our government proves their incompetence.
The following is an excerpt from an article in the Washington Examiner. It should strike FEAR into the heart of EVERY American!
Will the I.R.S. have the power to decide who, how much AND take it out of your paycheck?
http://www.washingtonexaminer.com/politics/Health-care-reform...
"There's been a lot of discussion about the new and powerful federal agencies that would be created by the passage of a national health care bill. The Health Choices Administration, the Health Benefits Advisory Committee, the Health Insurance Exchange — there are dozens in all.
But if the plan envisioned by President Barack Obama and Congressional Democrats is enacted, the primary federal bureaucracy responsible for implementing and enforcing national health care will be an old and familiar one: the Internal Revenue Service. Under the Democrats' health care proposals, the already powerful — and already feared — IRS would wield even more power and extend its reach even farther into the lives of ordinary Americans, and the president-appointed head of the new health care bureaucracy would have access to confidential IRS information about millions of individual taxpayers"
Will this person be vetted or will it be yet another example of "czars"?
Does this mean you will NOT have a choice whether to purchase health insurance? Will it be TAKEN from your paycheck before you even see it? For four years BEFORE you get anything in return.
The I.R.S. Rules & Regulations / LAWS is now 44,000 pages and growing.

Although the following list of agencies are under Pelosi's bill there WILL be many, many more NEW agencies some very intrusive. Agencies funded by YOUR Tax money.

So far Congress has only proven just how far the corruption in our government has grown. They don't even hide it, nor are "they" the least bit ashamed of their actions! To the contrary their show of arrogance is beyond anything I have ever experienced.
IS THIS PARTNERSHIP OF THE I.R.S. AND HEALTH CARE THE LAST STRAW?
THANK YOU.
P.S.
The irony? While people in Iran and now China risk their lives and take to the streets to have freedom.
The very country that has been the light of freedom for the rest of the world is racing towards what others are fighting against.

In 1787, the Constitution of the United States called into existence the federal government. What was significant, however, was that it was a government whose powers were expressly limited by the people.
The Declaration of Independence and the Constitution integrated the most radical, revolutionary ideas on liberty that the world has ever known. For the first time in history, people had assumed the role of master and relegated government to a role of subservience. Recalling the dictum in the Declaration that whenever government becomes destructive of the rights of the people, it shall be the right of the people to alter or abolish it, the Constitution also provided a means by which people could alter or even abolish their own government.
As a P.S. I add the following for your consideration:
Kill the mandate Dec 2009 : http://www.fff.org/comment/com0911e.asp
Health care reform: its all about power http://www.fff.org/comment/com0911e.asp why and answers
Public authorities. These are quasi- governmental enterprises that control substantial assets, often taxpayer-subsidized, without effective accountability. They include housing, port, energy, water, transportation, and educational authorities.<6> To this might also be added various utilities, and both public and publicly-regulated private monopolies, like local telephone and cable companies. They are also a major source of government contracts.
"It does not require a majority to prevail, but rather an irate, tireless minority keen to set brush fires in people's minds."

"The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government."
"The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not."
"When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty."
"The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants."
"When we get piled upon one another in large cities, as in Europe, we shall become as corrupt as Europe. "
"I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them."
Thomas Jefferson said each of these quotes. I would say he was quite intelligent and right on the mark.
Where is your documentation for that?
We don't control the auto industry, we are shareholders.
Who has taken control of health care? Public option is on a back burner. Without that, there is not even a suggestion of government control. But you are right on one point: the insurance companies and the big pharma definitely are controlling you well-being.
I'm sorry, I must have missed the broadcast where Bush and Cheney revealed the down and dirty deeds that led to Iraq. Is this the transparency you seek?
Look, you really need to do a little research if you want to have a meaningful dialog. You need some new sound bites. These are really tired and old. Can't believe you are still clinging to them as some sort of reality. Otherwise, just drop the flag towel and let your intelligence show.
Enumerated powers. Do "they" even remember taking an oath to the Constitution,
This is is the Year America Rises.
