Having sex is a very, very small part of being married. If sex were taken OUT of the equation, would you care about gay or polygamist marriages?

Perfectly stated.Contrary to popular belief your sex life improves over the length of your marriage .The deeper the commitment,trust and love grow making you closer and closer.

I believe it's those who truly believe that marriage is a Sacrament are those who have an objection-rightfully so.Sprinkling fairy dust (no pun intended) will not eliminate sex from the equation.I think it will open up more than anyone can fathom.I see an overwhelming amount of litigation in the future based on discrimination.Say a Catholic church has 2 gay parishioners that chose to be married would it then be legally discriminatory to deny them?That's just one scenario I'm certain there are many more my little brain can conceptualize..at least before coffee.

Homosexuality is about sexual preference. I am waiting for the man or woman who wants to have sex with an animal. At the present, there are still laws against it, just as there used to be laws about same sex relationships. However, over time and fashion, morals have been pushed aside. It makes one wonder how much longer before sex with children will be the sexual preference and allowed... Still want to beat up someone who supports a normal relationship between a man and a woman...?

People are free to judge anything any way they want. What makes you think it's ok to turn away and ignore something that you find morally wrong? This is what has gone wrong with our society. People have abonded their principals and stopped thinking. Someone from hollyweird or a politician says we should be tolerate and we just up and abandon our own morals and beliefs.

Judging is NOT your job. Judge not least ye be judged. God has the control on judgement and HE will deal with the sinners. Love the sinner hate the sin. Rather than judge, pray. The power of prayer is stronger than your judgment.

You so called Christians are in for a surprise when you meet God. Jesus did tell us to recognize evil, point out evil, speak against evil. Christianity is under attack. And where are the Christians protesting and actively working? God will not be pleased that you have not been his warrior and done his work as commanded. Christians on the whole have become weak. Going to church and even believing is not enough.

Remove your plank and then speak to me. I know what the bible says and i do recognise evil. I just choose to pray for the sinner and not judge them. I point it out but you can't beat the gay out of someone and THAT is what people like you try to do. This is what makes us " Christians" be under attack for. I am a person who believes in telling someone what the bible says and then let them do as they wish. Plant the seed and let God do the rest.

When was the last time you went out into the community and spread the word? Praying is not doing Gods work. You are more scared of man than you are of God and you will be judged.

I don't hate Christians. I hate hypocrites. You did not address any of the challenges or charges I set. Going to church and praying is not enough. When will you and your congregation stand up for Christianity? Christians are under attack and I simply stated that you do not do the works that Christ himself charged you with and you shall be judged for that when your time comes.

i have been married to my wife for going-on 31 years and we have two young adult sons. i'm talking about the freedom and rights of my fellow citizens and the use of our collective tax dollars.

i do not support the idea of adults being "free" to have sex with children

i have no interest in having sex with any animal ... i think it is more than weird ...

my definition of individual freedom is that it is expansive enough to permit two consenting adults of the same gender to have a sexual relationship if they want, because it is none of my business to tell them that they cannot or should not ...

Go back up and read the entire thread because you are taking bits and pieces and trying to form an argument which I have not started.

A person who has a moral compass does not have a relationship with someone of the same sex, animals or children.... yet all of these things are going on today in the world....

People without a moral compass are trying to change laws in their favor so that their perversion becomes protected.

It is my business when it affects those who are innocent, and they are battered by this wave of perverted thinking. I believe it will not be fifty years from now when there will be laws that will allow children to be used for sex. Laws protect them now... but for how much longer?

Your moral compass is askew... try to get it fixed and plug yourself in if for no other reason than for the sake of your children...

But you can't just shoot them just like I can't shoot two men. We can't stop people from being gays but we can put them back in the closet and nail the door shut. My parents and grandparents never had to deal with "hate crimes" or gay rights in their lifetimes. They lived good happy lives. Funny thing about people who make fun of traditions and old fashioned values, people "WERE BETTER" in those days. I would give anything to live in my great grandparents or grandparents time. Honor, honesty, pride, are wonderful values and those values are just laughed at today.
