Have you seen the lame movie trailer blamed for the Middle Eastern violence happening now?

Ok I watched it. It was the stupidest, lamest thing I have ever seen. I could do better in my basement with friends. Secondly it was sooo very bad I did not want to watch it or cared to. It was like someone trying to make fun of Cheech & Chong and they were already drunk! I had a hard time following it. It was like the guy who I think was Muhammad was drunk and a total stooge. If this sets people off to kill, burn, rape, murder, and attack Americans, Jews and Western Countries then we have bigger issues because it's so darn lame! Getting angry at this would have to show that you are the lamer then it! I don't think anyone would ever have gotten past the trailer of this dumb thing if it wasn't causing people to go insane in the middle east. All I have to say is that obviously the people going wild just needed any excuse and their so called holy men are using this awfully poor stupid film as it. I mean pick your fights it's not even funny it's just awful.

I can see why all the Muslims are upset.....but they are taking it waaaaay too far! As much as I love Arabs and Muslims, it seems that they are EXTREMELY quick to overreact, especially concerning Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and anything concerning religion.
The riots were terrible and the loss of lives deplorable and those responsible for the deaths should be arrested and dealt with. People need to deal with this sort of thing in a better way. When they kill and riot, they go against what every major religion preaches. But I also believe that those who made the film are also responsible since they made it with the intent to cause harm. They should also be brought to justice.
But before we judge everyone there, let's keep in mind that Egypt is a country of over 90 million people. There were what, maybe a 1000 protestors out on the streets? I don't know if we can say that this relatively small group represents the entire group. Its like judging every Christian based upon the Westboro Baptist Church. Every group has it's extremists, unfortunately.
Men rule with an iron fist and there's no arguing with that.
People tell me that most Muslims are not violent and it's not a violent religion. Maybe that's true of some. I honestly can't say because I don't know any Muslims. But there is a large number of Muslims who live by this Sharia Law and, as a woman, your life would be in jeopardy every, single day.
How do we deal with that kind of mentality? I don't know.
When you say "god" it can mean many different things to different people. Christians, Jews, and Muslims are all descended from Abraham. All three call "god" by different names but he is the same "god".
Other religions, such as Pagans and Wiccans, have many gods and godesses associated with nature.
We also have Hindus, Buddhists, various Asian religions and others.
While the largest number of Americans may be Christian, we are NOT a Christian nation. The Founding Fathers were extremely careful not to associate any specific religious beliefs with our nation or government.
Estimates are that there are around 5 million Muslims in the U.S. and that number could double by 2020.
So, as Americans, no one religious group can legitimately claim a particular "god" for this country.
