I know I have..What is bad we agree on more things then we disagree with..Anyway, at times it bothers me and other times I think they were not friends in the first place..Anyway I dedicate this song to all who have backed and supported me..

My friends and I have learned to disagree without being disagreeable, to agree to disagree and to respect that we may have differing opinions on certain topics.

If they can't accept my difference then they were never a good/true friend. Thus I wouldn't count it as a "loss".

They don't teach you this in school, but politics is personal. It's about who owns who, and what part of one person's life another person is willing to take (surreptitiously by way of a voting booth).

. . .And ditto what mustangluver said.

I've lost acquaintances, but not anyone I considered to be a real friend. True friendship doesn't hinge on political beliefs.

My liberal friends and relatives are usually nice people. I believe in the freedom of speech and thought. I think living by example is the way to sway another persons political views.

I'm not a liberal. I have friends and relatives that are liberal. I would be a hypocrite if I say I believe in freedom, then try to shut others up. That's what liberals do. I basically ignore them.

I've lost family over political differences. That kind of loss is more than losing some so-called friend who probably wouldn't have been around more than a year or two.

Political ideology is no basis for friendship, therefor it is no reason to end a friendship. Friendship to me is based on how people treat each other, not what their political beliefs are.

I find fair-weather friends aren't really friends at all. However, I have lost respect for those who had me convinced they were patriots and stood for liberty only to find out Party is more important than integriy and taking our country back.

If their man is Romney, so be it, but they do not have to pretend not to support Obama. If they actually looked they would see they are the same. And it is easy as hell to see.

I agree ... I believe it was Romney's campaign that started the "anyone but Obama" mantra. It's the only way he has a chance at beating him ... the blind following of a slogan ... guess many didn't learn enough from the 2008 slogan of hope and change.

It separates those with moral conviction from the sheep. The hypocrites and liars from those that seek the truth. It's almost a natural cleansing of your associations that is healthy.

Same here. I lost family in Boston because they continued to express liberal idiocy every time I spoke with them. I told them I didn't want to talk politics, but they kept pushing their liberal agenda, so I finally set them straight on some things. Now we don't talk anymore.
