I don't know if you call it "met", but I had to suffer through the court system to get my son's murderer convicted. It was pure hell. I thought I was going to die of heartbreak during that time.

    im a killer

I've had to shoot cows that fell down and broke their legs or if they've been really sick (oh the joys of being a farmers daughter). Trust me, they won't heal from broken bones and they'll only be in pain for the rest of their lives. No one can afford the kind of care that it requires to keep them alive comfortably. (Although I wouldn't necessarily call myself a killer. I didn't kill them because it wanted to, but because it's the only humane thing to do)

But to be serious, I think that a lot of people can be considered "murderers", as in "responsible for taking a persons life" (although i wouldnt really call them murderers. i think that most people in their lifetime can somehow be conidered responsible, or at least a factor, in another persons death). There's the doctor who didn't do the right tests and it killed my little sisters best friend. theres the doctor who said my friend (whos hutterite btw) had a backache as a punishment from god because he played hockey (i kid you not). he bled to death from a ruptured aorta that same night. the doctor didnt do a single test. they just laughed him out of the hospital. he didnt even get in trouble for it. then theres my classmate who drove off a bridge and killed his two brothers who were in the backseat, and the list goes on. I wouldnt consider them murderers but they did factor into each persons death.

"Murderer" just isnt that black and white.

I met one guy, who is now in jail for allegedly killing someone. I do not know what actually happened and is he really guilty or not, but that's what I've heard.

Not that I know of. The only thing that sets you apart from a murderer is that you have control of your temper and your actions.

I didn't know they were at the time but they now are. A girl from Jr. High is in prison now and I know Jodi Arias. Very shocking, but I can see clearly how off she is. Why? Because Jodi has the same calm, sweet, in-effected demeanor that she did when hanging out as she did in talking about murder from jail. You would think she'd be a wreck talking about Travis dying and being in prison. Not to mention her lying makes no sense at all.

Farmers regularly murder both plant and animal life.

"The unlawful premeditated killing of one human being by another." Explain to me again how a plant is a human...? :P
I'm going to take this as you're kidding :)
I've only ever killed (not murderd :P) animals if it was completly inhumane to keep them alive. I'm not going to make a cow suffer through having 3 broken legs that will never heal before it dies of the various infections. i imagine that that is a very painful way to die, as it can take several months. A bullet is at least quick.
  • TKramar Nessie 2013/03/16 14:10:15

the humanity isn't essential to murder. killing is killing.
  • Nessie TKramar 2013/03/17 02:51:01
    Nessie
All murder is killing but not all killing is murder. Technically by legal definition it is only murder if it is an act against another human being. Although I would class a person who shoots dogs for fun in a completely different catagory than the farmer who shoots their cow because to keep it alive would be torture.

I actually worked with one and shared an office without knowing that he was a murderer. He committed suicide as the investigation got closer to him. He left a note explaining himself. Pretty shocking. I was interviewed about a dozen times by investigators about this guy.

Yes, a guy who is in recovery, and then my husband's cousin who murdered his wife of 3 weeks. I won't go near my husband's cousin because he should still be in prison for the life he took, and for all the lives he ruined.
