Once I was walking down the street and a police car cut me off as I got to the alley, it came out of no where. A cop jumped out the car and demanded for me to put my hands up. I was 19 at the time. I was scared frozen. Because I didn’t move quick enough he put his gun in my face. The cop proceeded to dig in my pockets. I was on my way to store to buy some clothes for myself, so I had about $200 cash in my pocket. I noticed there were a half dozen of so young men spread out against the wall across the street being frisked by the police. The cop asked where I was going and where I lived. I told him the truth. He let me go.
Another time I was just driving in the suburbs, going to visit a relative that just moved out there. I did not do any moving violations, I knew better than to give them any excuse. Cop stopped me anyway and came to my windows with gun in my face. Asked me to get out car and if I had any drugs in the car. He checked the car and let me go.
Another time I was pulling up to my mother in laws house. A unmarked car pulls behind me. A guy gets out, without identifying himself ask to speak to me. I ignore him, because I’m not in the habit of talking to strangers that approach me as I’m going into a house. When I come out the same dude is at my c...

He ask to see my ID, still he has yet to identify himself. My old battle axe of a mother in law comes outside and tells the dude to leave. He apologizes and then shows his badge and decides to leave me alone.
I have plenty more……….
Looking at all my experiences, the only thing that kept me from being really “beat up” is I’m so cool. That one cop that stopped me in front of my mother in laws house without identifying himself, I should have kicked his @$$.
For the record, I have no criminal record, never been arrested, %$#! I don’t even smoke or eat meat. ;o)
Twice. Once I was in the wrong place at the wrong time when a fight broke out at a ball game. Police got over zealous and used billy clubs on nearly everyone in the area. Me included. I was 13 years old at the time. I have NEVER respected the police of any city or state since.
The second time was at a rally in Oakland and the police were clearing the streets, yet I was not a part of the rally or even envolved. I came out of a store and into the melay of swinging clubs and arrests. I ended up charged with illegal assembly. I was 23 at the time and went to court was convicted and I appealed the conviction. My Proof that I was not involved was the receipt I had from both the store and the parking garage showing I was not any part of the rally. The conviction was overturned and my record expunged.
I still to this day some 40 years later have no respect for police departments and their taticts.
I told them they could do more good for the community if they got off thier D.A. and patroled the streets instead of try to seduce each other >> 3 hours outside a donut shoppe for weeks hiding in the corner in the dark >> Put in jail >> But the judge threw it out and sent me home
No, I have been arrested several times here in France, never been "roughed up". Except once, he was drunk, but the other police officers stopped him, and apologized for his behavior.
By some German police when i was over there for a while during my army service. Mind you, I was a bit of a tearaway in those days and probably deserved it....!
American police are selected (by their bosses) for being inadequate personalities. Instead of being cool under stress, they blow up. That kind of behavior would get you punished in the military or court-martialled. But in the US cops are rewarded for being thugs.
What plant are you on ?????? Like the military if you have no skills they make you an MP >>> Same applies to the ones they hire can't do anything else so they become cops and sit around finding fault with others >> For the same things they themselfs do >. We can respect the badge ,But the person wearing it most earn it >> 20% do a great job the rest thinks the world owe them something and are only there for the pension after the rule of 65
Yes, as they stick up for one another >. Thats why they call for back up then it two aginst one in court >> Or you will find 5 or 6 there forming a report as they need help writting it
I have applied to be police 2x times (Chicago & Evanston). For Chicago I actually got far in the process. I passed the intel test, passed physical test but failed the psych test. The process took me months, then at the end I was given no reason why I was rejected for psych reasons. I'm too crazy to be a cop.

I have never had a problem with police.
Once, I was hit from behind by two policemen carrying clubs and beaten for several minutes.
