My favorite is the one where Romney flip flops on just about everything he has ever said. I find that totally disgusting because he is lying to his "people" and they actually are dumb enough to vote for him.

    Facts.

"Romney stopped his day-to-day oversight at Bain Capital in 1999 when he left to run the Salt Lake City Olympics, though he officially remained CEO until 2002. Bain Capital shut down GST Steel in 2001, costing Soptic his job.

According to Mr. Soptic, his wife received her primary insurance through her employer – a local thrift store called Savers – and retained it even after his layoff. Soptic's policy through GST Steel was her secondary coverage.

In 2002, Mitt Romney formally left Bain. Sometime in 2002 or 2003, Mr. Soptic says his wife injured her rotator cuff and was forced to leave her job. As a result she lost her health insurance coverage and Mr. Soptic's new job as a janitor did not provide coverage for his spouse.

It was a few years later, in 2006, that Ilyona Soptic went to the hospital with symptoms of pneumonia. She was diagnosed with stage four cancer and passed away just days later."

They interviewed this fella on Anderson Cooper, he admitted his wife didn't die until 5 years after he was laid off. Its not really a fair ad and shouldn't have been allowed to run. Still, the basic idea, how people and their life's are being affected by the layoffs of this recession is true in its core meaning. I don't support ads that aren't factual in account, but I'm seeing this being done by both parties. I guess its up to those listening to fact check whats being told to them by either party. These days we can't accept anything without considering all the facts and using common sense to come to sensible conclusion.

Ok so it's flip-flopping when Romney does it but it is "evolving" when Obama does it. RIGHT!!!

Pres Obama has always felt that gay people should have their rights, but wasnt sure on marriage. That is a big difference from Romney bragging that he is a liberal and acting like one when he was in Massachusetts and now he is "severly conservative." And you all believe him, dont you? lol

I'm not a fan of Romney but the idea that Obama is "evolving" and Romney is flip-flopping is rediculous. Gay marriage is not the only issue and actually will be a NON-issue in the election.
  • lstl5 ~ Veron... 2012/08/11 07:59:57

Obama evolved on one issue. Romney has "evolved" on almost every issue. It just depends on which crowd he is playing to. Massachusetts is a liberal state, so he said he was "to the left of Ted Kennedy" when he wanted to be elected there. This man has flip flopped his whole political career. Obama has stayed the same throughout his, and in fact, moved to the center in trying to work with the republicans and risked losing his base.

Never, until I have seen the new add by Obama, not one of his pacs inferring he not only paid no taxes, but posssibly committed crimes. This is exactly how Obama won his Senate seat in Illinois. Dirty, dispicable, underhanded bunch of lied. True Chicago Thug Politics. I was raised in Chicago and believe they are the dirtiest bunch of politicians ever.

Old LBJ wasn't too bad when he ran against Goldwater. The add of just a couple of kids swinging and then a mushroom shaped cloud.
