Let me begin by saying, if I don't agree with someone, I don't call them names (to feel superior?) I do try to either understand why they think the way they do... or allow for the fact that not everyone thinks the same.
1. A good businessman does not necessarily make a good president.... just as a good president does not necessarily have to be a businessman. He has at his disposal many economists and very strong professionals to add information and facts. A president has to be a leader: someone who can examine all angles to a situation.. be an aware & good listener... and consider many various conclusions to any decision he finally makes as it doesn't not effect a few hundred people but millions.
2. President Obama is human... as we all are. He did not show disrespect by not having his hand over his heart... and certainly was not holding his crotch.
3. All 50 states have a small contingency of sore losers who are presently incapable of seeing what could be a much more productive way to approach the next 4 years. I seriously doubt whether any state would vote to secede if the facts were explained and a vote was taken.

5. It is quite obvious to anyone who has listened to all the facts concerning Libya, that the proper channels that were in place and information that was released at various times were made for logical and sensible reasons. In NO way was Obama directly responsible... Ambassador Steven would NEVER have been reporting directly to the President. (The birthing topic and others aren't "old news".) (Why didn't Romney release his tax records?)
6. again... the church he attended was a Christian church he attended with his family. When extreme comments were said, he shared his beliefs which did not jive with the extremes...
Sadly, most crimes that are made and ignored by the courts are those of whites against blacks... Consider the % of blacks that immediately go to jail vs those whites who have done the same crimes that get lesser sentences. Yes, there is HUGE prejudice remaining in this country.
7. He has never apologized to the world for this country. He has offered respect to countries that should be recognized even if their cultures and beliefs are different than ours. ("What would Jesus do?")
8. Again... he shows respect for Muslims, many of whom are decent, law abiding citizens. From my perspective, the very fact that he has had some personal awareness of the Muslim culture is a very positive quality for the presidency in these times when many Muslim countries are finally going through huge changes and growth which have been simmering for decades. It is much easier to deal with conflicts when you can understand where both sides are coming from.

Ambassador Stevens was tortured, sodomised & murdered. Obama was watching the whole thing in real time in the Situation Room in the White House & didn’t do anything!
When our Navy Seals KILLED OBL for him they were there for Obama & when they needed Obama to be there for them he went AWOL!

If you think that FOX, and only Fox, reports honest news, I don't know what else to say... I listen and watch many media reports and take away a bit from all of them.
Most of your subsequent comments are so slanted and misled I only feel sadness... for you... and many others who live with these awful distortions of a man who has so much potential to really make solid, important changes, not only as President but also as an American.
I personally thought that when Obama has recognized, with respect, other countries who have various cultural aspects with religion and customs, it has been an enormous gain for all. We are a country which represents many religions and backgrounds. We are but ONE country of many in a big, complex world and should not act as though we have all the answers. WE obviously DON'T.
People who are behind Obama do NOT think is perfect... just a very solid, intelligent, honest man willing to serve a country during a time of upheaval and change.
I think the fact that Obama HAS had live experiences with the Muslim religion as well as being raised as a Christian gives him a clear advantage to understanding what the world is going through at the moment. The Arab Spring has been simmering for many years. With the face pace of media and social networking, the pace of change moves faster and more expansive daily. Something an American President must be totally aware of presently as a leader. Romney is locked into past doctrine of Mormons and functions that no longer will serve us.... AND even more significantly, Romney changes his opinions daily to suit his audience. A terrifying quality for a President.

I watched both videos.... One a soft, informative piece on Romney, the nice Mormon man... which is fine... But, that doesn't mean that he would be a great President... Gayle King was a great unbiased reporter, but you can bet that she's already cast her vote for Obama and it's NOT because she's Ophra's friend or that she's black.
The second video is a classic for Fox.... using dramatic, media crazed people who have very little standing in the real world. I do watch Fox at times, as I do many other media news programs, but I also balance what I do hear.
I think the Libyan crisis was handled well by the President. Even Coulter said, that he "apparently" ignored the requests. As President, Obama would not have gotten a call from Stevens, or a CIA operative, directly to ask for help. (It does seem that somewhere down the line, someone missed an opportunity to reinforce an increasingly tense hotspot.... but it has also been said that Stevens himself wanted to be accessible to the Libyan people without huge security.) As far as Obama's leadership, he did want was the right thing to do... WAIT until all the data and information came in AND was confirmed. I am certain, just as with Bin Laden, he is presently working with the correct agencies to uncover what happened. THAT is what a calm, deliberate leader should do. This world has many options to become very volatile very quickly. The last thing this country needs is someone who speaks unwisely before the facts are in. (Hence, neither McCain nor Romney are good for that position) MANY variables must be taken into consideration without political or public pressures.
