Have people gotten dumber?

Enough dumb people voted for a man with no past or experience and made him President in 2008. That says it all, can't get much dumber than that.

Far too many are brain washed into thinking their future depends on the govt. it depends on what you decide to do, not what govt decides is best for you. Vote Romney in Nov for real hope and change.

i think many have become more complacent...what's the point in working hard when you can be just as well rewarded for doing almost nothing?

And I blame public schools and TV.

But politicians have.

People are more dumb. They don't know what our politicians are doing. How they go about picking someone to vote for. they vote for a president that looks cool. Our president is not a celebrity or entertainer. They don't know the difference. Sad. And Obama knows it and he has professionals dressing him and so on to appeal to the younger people.

I doubt people are any dumber than they have been in the past, they've just allowed others to think for themselves and have become lazy in the process. Eventually they'll become smarter through desperation.

I don't know if people are dumber. There is a lot more available information out there, but a lot of it is just crap. I think the most interesting part of this article is that it takes a politician to retire before he truthfully answers a question. That's pretty sad.

Yes , people are blinded by hatred . They fallow the personality and not the principal or facts ...we are now a nation of “diversity” with no history and no future ! And that is change you can believe in !
