When the Tea Party gets the GOP to stop trying to oversee peoples sex-lives, I'll take them seriously when they talk about small government.

They seem to have hurt the GOP, I do not respect the Tea Party because all they touch seems to get rotten. Palin kisses there ass because they bring many people to her rally's, I doubt she completely agrees with their platform. They are ultra right and ultra Christian right and although I am a Christian, I do not agree with making abortion illegal. I do think abortion laws needs to be looked at and women needing an abortion should be counseled and given other alternatives then if she needs to have an abortion so be it.

Sounds to me like you're pro-choice. Those who claim the term "Pro-Life", don't think a woman should be allowed to have an abortion at all.

You could have bargained with the unions like the auto factories in Michigan . All the new workers are making $10 an hour no longer $35 . I agree raises are about useless but tell that to the landlord the grocery store the gas and electric company the oil industry and bank wanting top dollar mortgage payments . If I remember correctly it was the tea party members lack of response trying to keep tax breaks for rich corporations outsourcing or not as they was holding unemployment extensions hostage in exchange that caused the credit downgrade . Lolz i guess the tea party figured if they screw up the credit rating Obama couldn't borrow anymore. Good plan but then what happened is the feds started printing worthless money .

So you think workers should live as the third world ? You want to take bargaining rights so that corporations have total control and it will be illegal to bargain with them ? Hell why don't you just hand them the key being you have so much faith that corporations will do right by the people like they did before the unions was formed . Do you thinks it fair corporations pay a Mexican ten bucks a day and then sell their products for top Dollar here ? Exactly you do not need to depend on unions its your choice its the peoples choice to have bargaining powers . I just showed or rather the unions showed that it is possible to work with the unions as the auto industry did . I totally agree they need to stay out of politics or maybe take a vote at who the union member want instead of the union officials decide who they want . I'm not much on unions myself but still its each individuals person decision to decide not mine . What scares me is this taking of rights handing total control to corporations making it unlawfully to challenge them . And no I do not have faith in corporations to do the right thing as they have proved in the past not to .

I believe in Unions, but collective bargaining seems to be hurting product quality and eating into city budgets. The pension plans for city jobs are decimating budgets in many major cities.

I here this all the time. Where has our country gone? Has our country fractured and I missed it? If it has what Balkanized section do we determine we live in? When was the duly elected government of the United States over thrown? Do we really have a dictator and the government information office is hiding it?
