Has the Republican Party caved in to the Teaparty? Romney's choice of Ryan proves this is so.

Bernie Sanders thinks so:
Bernie Sanders
‎"The selection of Rep. Paul Ryan as Romney's choice for vice president makes it very clear that the Republican Party has completely caved in to the extreme right-wing Tea Party. Ryan, the author of the Republican House budget, would make devastating cuts in Social Security, Medicare, Medicaid and education while giving even more tax breaks to millionaires and billionaires. The Romney-Ryan ticket is waging war against the middle class and must be defeated." - Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.)

Romney, like John McCain, has proved that he is not in control of his own party and is simply catering to the loudest extremists in the room. If the people really want Grover Norquist to be the President of the United States they can vote for Romney. If they give a sh*t about the future of America that's not a choice they can make.

The Republican Party just caved in.! Mitt Romney did not need a VP for help, Romney was a lost cause long ago. More Americans should research Mormon Church and why Romney is all for the wealthy class. Actually LDS control Mitt Romney.
LDS require each Mormon member to pay 10% tithing of their income. LDS belief,
Quote: "One of the first things a bishop must do to help the needy is ask them to pay their tithing. Like the widow, if a destitute family is faced with the decision of paying their tithing or eating, they should pay their tithing."

"In addition to its mall-building ambitions, the LDS Church owns some 928,000 acres in North America, is the largest ranch land owner in Wyoming, is the 2nd largest land owner in Nebraska, has the largest cattle ranch in 48 states, and is the largest foreign landowner in the UK."

The republicans don't know which way to turn and they are trying everything to win. Mittens must show he is a conservative. So he chooses an inexperienced running mate.

It sure appears that way. The once proud GOP is gone, only to be taken over by the ultra conservative tea party obstructionists.
Ronald Reagan would be considered a RINO by the tea party fanatics

The only way the right wingers can get their party back, is to get rid of the most extreme senators and congressman.

Two Ken dolls running . Who knows what Willard was thinking, since that is never his strong suit anyway. Ryan may help him carry Wisconsin with 10 electoral votes...may, but how does Ryan help him in Florida where people love Medicare and SS ...... AS IT IS ! His little voucher nonsense and privatizing SS will go over like a lead brick. Willard just gave Florida to Obama. No doubt, Obama sighed a huge sigh of relief when he heard who Romney picked. Rubio could have been a problem... but Ryan ? Phffffft!

    So, let's see. What other states can Ryan help with? N O N E. Can Ken # 2 attract the Hispanic vote? N E V E R. Women voters? Don't make me laugh. Gays ? Barharharhar !

Romney knew his Mormonism would be a problem , so he brings in Catholic Ryan thinking that will solve his problems. Paul Ryan will wind up being a bigger liability than Sister Sarah.

I think Ken #2 (love that description!) will get Wisconsin's ten electoral votes. But that's about it.

What makes that statement true is the fact that the founding forefathers opposed ANY AND ALL government transfer payments to individuals whereas the Tea Party accepts them in a limited way. Still...a far cry from Democrats who think the extent of available money is limited only by functional printing presses and barrels of ink.

Bernie Sanders ???? Thought he was in a psychiatric nursing home by now - his opinions are really worthless. We now have a choice - fiscal conservatives who will get us back on the path to fiscal sanity so we can all succeed. Two men of great integrity, knowledge and experience to get America back on the track that Obama has damn near destroyed.

Perhaps they have to some extent, though I do agree with many things the teaparty advocates stand for. Namely spending control and free enterprise, but not enough to even endorse or vote for a republican.

I gave up on the democratic party as being champions of the issues I find to be important in high school.

Since that time, they have grown even more dogmatic and unreasonable. Obviously, I do not miss them much.
