Has the GOP saddled us with enough crackpots?

bob 2012/08/21 19:56:02
The GOP has come down with a sickness that combines religious extremism, greed and a lack of compassion for others and a refusal to deal with objective reality
Today’s Republican Party is driving away from conservatism into something ugly.
Mitt Romney continues to prostitute himself to the nastiest nutcases, crackpots and lunatics
The Republican Party is set to adopt an official platform that calls for “a human life amendment” to the Constitution that would not allow abortion even in cases of rape.
The GOP has saddled us with enough crackpots
The GOP has not saddled us with enough crackpots

The number of Republican crackpots would have to be squared to even begin getting close to the number of liberal crackpots.

You have to look at the repugs for the debt. the huge bush2 tax cuts for the wealthy were never paid for are still in effect, and have added and will add many trillions to the deficit. The bush2 admin knew what they were doing when they saddled America with trillions in debt, the same way they knew Iraq was never a threat.

No matter how many time these crackpots prove that the only thing that trickles down from the wealthy is urine, they never stop pushing that greed for the wealthy and redistribution of wealth the the wealhty. They manage to get support for supposed freedom lovers, who want the freedom to deny freedom from anyone who doesn't adhere to their religous strictures.

The republican party is the gift that keeps on giving. With the firestorms of Todd Akin and practically the whole Republican party including Hannity and Limbaugh telling him to step down for the good of the election when the presidential candidates are trying to distance themselves from the topic, Knowing full well that Ryan voted completely with Akin on an abortion issue... They choose right to life even in the case of rape and incest as the Republican convention platform? .The mental patients are in control of the mental hospital! And by the way, you notice that in every interview with Romney and Ryan together that Ryan doesn't speak??? He's got no spine. Just give away that womans vote.

How many are "enough"? The Republican party has provided dozens in their national efforts, thousands at the State level, and millions at the local level. Here on SH, about 50% of the respondents make unfounded allegations, uninformed comments, expressed paranoid delusions, and other signs of ignorance or stupid, railing against that "Obama" (the "progressive", "liberal", "educated", "black man"). Yes, they have saddled us with more of these air heads than we can count.

Sometimes that is about the limit of comprehension of many who post them here. I suspect that a lot of SH responders are juveniles or grade school kids sitting in class
with a smart phone or iPad. There is a noticeable lack of understanding of the history of the past thirty years and how the several crisis we face came to be. I can't imagine adults being able to live in a state of denial so firmly fixed in their minds.

With the repugs and teabugers voting down 39 jobs bills, its the repugs and teabugers that have failed. And the deficit is squarely on bush2. He added trillions then, and is still adding trillions today.

Have you no mind of your own? I was asking the middle class and workers who were fleeced of more than $27Trillion by the "Reaganomics" programs. Recall, if you can, the economy collapsed in the second quarter of 2008 and had to be supported by a series of Government bail-outs beginning with $857BILLION GWB sent to the Reagan Banks. Of course, no one on the right wing can recall any of this at this time - just blank minds, blank in several ways.
  • R. Ambassa... 2012/08/24 02:03:14

The total GW had at his disposal was 700 billion. He used 350 of it
to stop the run. The other 350 was spent by the community organizer
along with the 857 billion ( actually 862 )MORE that you are unsuccessfully attempting to lay on GW. You are so far off base I don't think you are
    from planet earth.
  • Ambassa... R. 2012/08/24 02:07:33 (edited)

Bush bailed the Reagan Banks and AIG as Lehman Bros collapsed, and they spread the fear that if the Govy didn't give them some money they would fold and cause a world-wide panic. Bush made the gift, his last chance to tap the till in behalf of his Wall Street supporters. When Obama took office the "gifts" became "loans", with interest and options on capital stock. All of that was quickly repaid as it wasn't rreally needed anyway, but if free they would take all they could get from GWB.
  • R. Ambassa... 2012/08/24 02:20:11
    R.
Get a grip. Who do you think is getting bailed out NOW ? The obama
campaign. Guess who is doing the bailing...Wall street . And it ain't
out of the goodness of their heart.
    Haters are terrible debaters.

You flip out the word "hate" without knowing what it means. Because I recall the history of some events does not merit a juvenile assertion of
"hate", unless you think that knowledge is something you would rather not encoounter.

As for Wall Street, they bet on what they percieve as the winning horse in the race. Actually, Romney will receive at least twice the amounts of campaign contributions from Wall Street and Reagan Banks and billionaires as will Obama. Mitten is their obvious candidate and will be
treated to more than he can spend. He hasn't yet even been nominated, so the last ten weeks will see the big bucks rolling in.
  • R. Ambassa... 2012/08/26 00:40:43
    R.
No one is " flipping out " and the only " juvenile " occurence is
your assertion that you " recall the history of some events ".
The statement itself clearly shows that your selective memory
is hard at work and that like most liberal progressive haters
your recollection of history and what really happened are not
nearly the same, Your stereotyping is soooo tired I had to take
a long nap after reading your last post and I'm starting to feel
drowsy reading this one. Clinton outraised his opponents as
did obama in 2008 so the money that these two have access
to is really a non starter.
