It spent years in Bushes DOE apps, then approved under Obama. And we have always given tax benefits to start up companies. Do know how much private investors lost in the Solyndra bankruptcy? Do know why it tanked? So tell me if you approve of the 52 billion in oil subsidies?

I think renewable energy is our way forward. So first, where are the facts on theses "19" bankruptcies? Name them for me. If Solyndra is your point it requires some work on your part. How long was their app in the DOE? How many other tax-benefiting companies have gone bankrupt that had nothing to do w green energy? How many went belly-up in defense contracts? How much private money went into Solyndra? A lot of money got burned because of China and the free market which no one saw coming. This DOE app had nothing to do w/ cronyism. The Bush admin started this application years before Obama's DOE approved it.

Now do you have a problem w 52 billion in oil subsidies? If so why? Why not? Just be consistent.

It is about time to leave. Otherwise, one could caught inside when the quarantine begins. I go to quite a few sites and this is one of the most outrageous. I feel sorry for many of the people on this site, because they actually believe the stuff that they say. As a conservative, I have tried to make the crazy wing understand the harm they do to the GOP and to American politics, but they just don't seem to be able to grasp my meaning. There are still a few conservatives who are decent and capable of a rational conversation, but more and more they get lost in the constant onslaught of low capacity users whose response to anything is either stupid graphics, childish insults, or just blocking anyone with a differing opinion. And the frauds are the worst ones, like a user who pretends to be a soldier, or a user who pretends to be dying of cancer, or any of the other nonsense that makes its way around here.
