Has Paul Ryan been appointed as the new head of the republican war on women?

bob 2012/08/17 19:30:56
As the Republican vice-presidential candidate, Paul Ryan now head the conservative war on women since Mitt Romney is still hiding behind Ann Romney’s skirt
Oh, but I know why! Paul Ryan sounds, thinks and acts, so much like Rick Santorum on the conservative WAR on Women!
Ryan has spent most of his public life battling against the things that most matter to women.
Ryan has been opposing contraception, eulogizing women who quit successful careers to be stay-at-home moms (like their own wives have done)
Ryan vowes to defund Planned Parenthood and repeal the Affordable Care Act.
Ryan voted against the Lily Ledbetter Fair Pay Act.
Ryan’s support of a federal ban on abortion in all circumstances, including incest and rape.
Realizing that 56 percent of Medicare beneficiaries are women, Ryan has proposed to privatize Medicare, so Older Women can’t afford healthcare
Ryan befriends the idea of cutting taxes to the rich and famous, while kicking women into the gutter
Brave Romney screams from behind Ann Romney’s dress “Paul Ryan has not appointed as the new head of the republican war on women”
Paul Ryan hates most women, except for Ayn Rand

You seem to forget that it is Obama that pays the womn that work for him 20% less than he pays men and that it was Obamacare that stole $716B from medicare.

Ryan doesn't care what kind of birth control you use, he just expects you to buy your own, and not have the taxpayer to support your nightly forays

Can you honestly answer the following questions:

1.) Who mutilated this poor woman, Republican senators or her despicable husband?

2.) Has her sociopath husband been arrested and is now rotting in prison, or did he get off scot-free because the senate blocked VAWA?

3.) Does the USA already have a legal framework to deal with domestic violence?

4.) Are women the only victims of domestic violence? Are men the only perpetrators?

5.) A wife cut her husband's penis off and shredded it in the garbage disposal because he asked for a divorce. Another man had all his teeth pulled out by his ex-wife. The media made fun of both male victims. Do we need a Violence Against Men Act in addition to VAWA? If not, why not?

6.) What do you make of this quote from the Washington Times:
"The most recent large-scale study of domestic violence was conducted by Harvard researchers and published in the American Journal of Public Health. The study, which surveyed 11,000 men and women, found that, according to both men’s and women’s accounts, 50 percent of the violence in their relationships was reciprocal (involving both parties). In those cases, the women were more likely to have been the first to strike. Moreover, when the violence was one-sided, both women and men said women were the perpetrators about 7...

7.) In the light of the above article, what do you make of the lack of shelters or resources for battered husbands? How do you explain that the police stereotypes men as perpetrators when called to a domestic dispute, even if it was the husband who called the police out of fear for his life? Could it be that male victims of domestic violence are already marginalized and overlooked because the legal and media spotlight focuses almost entirely on female victims?

The women listed in the above comment probably would not have resorted to such extreme acts had they not been abused. Lorena Bobbet's only mistake was in telling where she had thrown the offending item.

You're only proving my point. Women are always victims, men are always perpetrators, right? This misandric mindset has become deeply ingrained in the public's mind. If women violate and mutilate men it must have somehow been the male victim's fault. It must have been just punishment, because everyone "knows" that women are angels whereas men are abusive, sexist pigs.

Well, sexism works both ways. How would you react if someone made a comment similar to yours about the female burn victim? If somebody suggested that her husband wouldn't have employed such drastic measures unless she deserved it? I think that would be a horrible, hateful and despicable thing to say -- and so was your comment, imho.

Speaking for those of us that use our heads for something other than a hat rack, this is one of the most ignorant question groups that has been put by an operative of the DemocRat party in quite some time. We all know that according to the liberal brain dead left, Republicans hate; women, children, the old, Blacks, Latinos, Asians, the poor, the middle class, the west coast, the east coast, people who live in the cities, people who live in the country, Muslims, Buddhists, Hindus, and they wish to poison the water, the air, the earth, and they also wish to put chains on all of you. Last but not least all Republicans are white and to top it all they take their marching orders from G.W. Bush and the Koch Brothers who as they all know, are Zionist Billionaires who wish to take over the world.

None of these suited my taste. Ryan is a young man who never had to struggle and does not understand what being an underdog means. His family owned a construction business and his father died when Ryan was young. Paul used his father's Social Security insurance payment to pay for college. It is really a case of I made it now pull up the very short ladder I had to climb. He has been a rubber stamp for Republicans and that is OK because he is a party man. However the speeches he made in support of the invasion of Iraq shows that he not only votes the party but is part and parcel of the lies.

Who says that conservatives want vast numbers of unwanted children? That's a false dichotomy. The lack of "free" (taxpayer-funded) contraception is not what causes pregnancy. Vaginal intercourse causes pregnancy.

It is entirely possible to play different kinds of bedroom games (oral sex, mutual masturbation etc.) until the point where you're either able to afford contraception or are prepared to take care of a child. It's not like people had no choice but to rut like mindless animals in heat.

(For the record, I think that birth control pills should be provided for women who need them for medical reasons and not just for contraception. It shouldn't be too hard to determine which patients really require a prescription. Doctors do that every day).

ROTFLMAO. I do advise men to keep their tools caged. But, like a lot of liberal women, they run around hopping into bed with everything that wears a skirt or wags their butts. Then they expect me and all other tax payers to pay for their few moments of pleasure.

The actual truth is that Romney made a terrible mistake in selecting Ryan. Romney will now have to fight the Ultra Conservatives to retain his hard earned position as the head of the Republican Party. This position is usually reserved for the person who goes out and runs in the primary's and wins his/her party's Presidential Nomination. Unfortunately for Romney, now that he has selected Ryan, the Conservative wing of the party has pretty much thrown him to the side and made Ryan the defacto head of the party. Romney will spend as much time fighting the conservatives as he will Obama. As a die hard Obama supporter, I don't think things could be going much better at this time.
