24 straight months of jobs added
new home construction up
declining unemployment rate
Car manufacturers posting record profits.
The good news keeps rolling in...... If Obama is to blame for the high gas prices is he also responsible for the improving economy?

Lulu's Mom 2012/03/23 16:54:59Yes Obama gets the credit.

That isn't a revolution since they voted against almost every piece of legislation that was put forth to help the American people and the economy. It's not in the Republicanteabagger interest to say anything good about the president or his policies for being part of the reason for the improvement in the economy.
After all, winning an election is much more important to the right wing nuts then what happens to the economy. As a matter of fact they did everything they could to try and tank it. They will still continue to do so, but they will fail and the American people will see the hate mongering racist losers for what they are.
Specifically, she said the media would falsely report that the economy is improving, in order to help get Obama re-elected.
Look at the employment rate.

24moth of growth wow
The report showed 227,000 net new jobs in February across broad sectors of the economy. That number follows the 284,000 net new jobs in January and 223,000 jobs in December. That brawny total of 734,000 net new jobs in the past three months continues a string of more than six consecutive
Though job growth remains below the rate needed to rapidly reduce unemployment to the more ideal 4 percent level, it is surprisingly strong given the repeated shocks that have jolted national and global growth. BP's huge oil spill off the Gulf Coast, for example, was followed by the tsunami and nuclear disaster that for months interrupted Japan's vital technology-supplier exports for manufacturing globally. More recently, Europe's deepening sovereign debt crisis in Greece, Portugal, Spain and Italy has slowly re-ignited recession in the broader euro zone, hampering American exports.
Obama wants to tax "the rich" ignoring that 80% of small businesses file as individuals.
OWS wants handouts, so do the demographic base of unions and ethnicities piled up at Obama's door.
The defacto unemployment/underemployment rate is closer to 20% than 10%.
The Obamacare mandates have effectively removed billions from paychecks in the form of higher insurance premiums and given it to those who will not pay.
And even with only 45% of last year's income, I still owe the IRS taxes.
So no, Obama has made things worse.
Anyone But Obama in 2012.
An inflamatory thread that doesn't block moderates.
On Topic:
When you consider the non-stop "We must stop Obama or things will get worse" ,.... yet three years of "trying to stop him" "Three years of howling about everything he does is wrong" three years of "We're doomed because Obama did this or that".
In spite of all that,... policies he fought for and put in place has NOT destroyed the country, and in at least 50 documented cases on Soda,.. they contributed to the improvement of our situation.
So yes,.. He gets credit.
You need to live in denial,... can't help you.
Props.
nice try, though.

South Carolina's Employment Situation January 2012
Unemployment Rate Continues to Decline
The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate in January was 9.3 percent, down 0.3 percentage points from December's revised rate of 9.6 percent, and was the sixth consecutive monthly decline. The drop was mainly the result of an estimated 7,900 people leaving the labor force. The number of employed persons over the month remained virtually the same at 1,951,314. The number of unemployed persons was estimated at 200,190, the lowest level since November 2008. Nationally, the unemployment rate fell to 8.3 percent in January.
Annually, labor force estimates are revised as part of the benchmarking process, a nationwide procedure mandated by the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) using up-to-date data from various sources. After benchmarking, South Carolina's seasonally adjusted unemployment rate for 2011 averaged 10.3 percent, down from the 11.2 percent average reported in 2010. The state's employment increased by 26,900 from January 2011 to 2012, even though there was little change in the labor force, bringing the level to 2,151,504.
