I only voted yes so the site would allow me to comment: Who cares? What difference does it make? What possible effect on your life could there be no matter which was true? She is not running for office. Her history, character, and employment are all utterly irrelevant. A politician's spouse's job is to look nice but non-threatening, smile in support of the spouse, and not do anything that could cause scandal. Man or woman, the job is the same. Full stop.

She has devoted everything to her family, she has to deal with a crippling disease and she has a husband involved with national politics, not to mention her dedication to her theraputic horses. She has worked hard and is sincere, that is more than can be said for Obama's wife. Staying home and raising the kids was once a good thing and done by most mothers in this country, when did that become a bad thing?

She raised five sons which is a lot of work in itself, but beyond that she worked with different charity organizations. She might not have held a 9 to 5, doesn't mean she hasn't worked.

I was a full-time Mom for my children's' first 8 years, and have never worked harder in my life, because it not a 40 hour job, it's 24-7, never a day off. If someone claims that's not working, then they have never done it, or have no respect and appreciation for their Mothers that did.

Obie's campaign team has put her on the ballot----just as was Michelle in 2008. A powerful woman behind the president is feared, esp when she might champion conservative causes. You go, girl! I think Ann Romney can hold her own. Besides, by the time the election rolls around, maybe the Fiest Lady will begin drawing a salary like Barry has suggested.
