That image, of course is not Harry Reid. It's Matthew Lyon and Roger Griswold having it out on the House floor with canes and fire tongs.
All right. So Harry Reid didn't do anything quite that bad. But it's bad enough. We're talking slander if he knew what he said about Romney was false, or misprision of felony (by not giving his information to the IRS) or even extortion if he really believes what he said. If Mitch McConnel were to say anything half that bad of Obama, Reid would try to throw him out of the Senate. But who's going to throw the Majority Floor Leader out of the Senate?
And where is the mainstream media in all this? Enjoying the spectacle. Not one of them asks about the kind of trouble that Reid would be in, if he didn't say it on the floor of the Senate. Two fact-checkers did say that if Reid meant, "He had no tax liability," then ten years of zero liability is next to impossible. But they're not asking themselves: what if Reid meant that Romney illegally failed to file his tax returns for ten years? (And what about Obama, who has his own problems with sealed records?)

Obama and the Democrats have relied on the media during his campaigns and this whole tax controversy get more play in the media than Fast and Furious or any other fiasco that Obama's administration created.

What if Messiah Mitt is one of the "takers" that FOXPAC is always droning on about not paying income tax? Those people are usually poor enough to not meet the requirements but I'm sure a very rich person with the right accounting firm could legally not pay any income taxes while still gaininng personal wealth.
I agree, what IS so important in those tax returns that Messiah Mitt feels the need to do something that no one running for president has ever done, hide them.
Messiah Mitt can end it all in 2 seconds and get on to discussing issues but he won't.
Why not?
That's the question EVERYONE should be asking, regardless of political affiliation.
Why not release them and move on?
If there is nothing damaging to the current image that Messiah Mitt is attempting to market, why not release them?
I mean c'mon, the guy already has shown that he got a tax deduction for a horse that is double the average americans yearly salary so surely there can't be much worse in store...or is there?
If he can't handle his personal tax issues, how will he handle ours?
Reid repeats his statements outside of the Senate building, at which point he gets instantly sued for slander. The case goes to court, at which point the evidence proves the allegation one way or the other.
If Reid is right, he should have no problem with this -- none at all. Why won't he do it?

But as far as Romney is concerned his path is clear, simpy expose this "liar" and "criminal' by revealing the truth!
