Today is June 14, 2012. On this date in 1898, the island chain we call Hawaii was formally organized as a territory of the United States of America. The practical effect of this act was to render anyone born on Hawaiian soil from that day forward a natural born citizen of the United States of America. No one is yet suggesting that Barack Obama somehow maneuvered Congress and President McKinley into passing this legislation just so when he was born in Honolulu about 63 years later he would be eligible to run for President, but it is a little suspicious, especially when you consider who else was born on this day:
Donald John Trump, born June 14, 1946.
And if that wasn't enough evidence of some vast conspiracy, how about this? It's also the birthday of:
Joseph M. Arpaio (born June 14, 1932)
Coincidence???? You tell me!!
But if it's any consolation, it's also the birthday of this guy:
Ernesto "Che" Guevara (born June 14, 1928):
