    Hula Girl....don't blame the message if the messenger gets it wrong. That is a reflection on him, not Christianity. I still like Hal, and this message is more to the point today than his failed one from before. Obama is a major problem for this country and this world.....

    I like Hal up until he was sure the Lord was coming back in like the early 80's and even though we won't know the time of Christs return.

    He just proved the Bible's saying that "nobody knows". I can forgive him for that. There were all those convinced it would be in 2000 and going back over time it seems that there were those who predicted it at the turn of nearly every century since Christ's death. We keep trying but the Bible merely gives us the advice to be ready and gives us some signs to watch for. To my knowledge he hasn't tried to be that specific since his big error back then. He still has some relevant and interesting things to say about the present administration and where the policies could be leading.

    Problem was I was witnessing to people at work and talking about him and whereas I warned we don't know the time and hour he made a fool of the Christian community. He turned a lot of people away that I knew and it was not good. It would have been better for him to keep his predictions to himself.

    True but if people will be turned away because of that one thing, it probably wouldn't have taken much anyway. I read his work and liked it but didn't get all slobbery about his predictions and here I am...still preaching the gospel.

    He's not the first one who has embarrassed the Christian community unfortunately. We are all human. That's why we need Christ. The perfect man does not need a Savior.

    I do like what he says in the videos. Like anyone else that has some right on things to say (Glenn Beck, Limbaugh etc), you have to sift through it carefully.

    Hal is still well respected.and now, as you can tell, he thinks before he speaks,and gives the message forthright, without the predictions. .

    Yeah, Swaggart, Jim Baker, Roberts, just to name a few. But scripture clearly, clearly warns us to NOT look at men because men will fail, but stay with the never changing, never ending word.

    Still, I get disappointed just like everyone else and feel hugely let down when one of them screws up.

    I don't get disappointed because, like you said, men will fail but I do wince when I read or hear about their failures. And then I say..."and God wept."

    I feel the same way about benny hinn. He prophesied that Bush would be our last freely elected president. And now we have obama. BUT, my husband argues that obama was not truly freely elected, he was planted and purchaed as was the election. Still......

    Your husband has a good argument. I have always felt that Obama was not truly elected to this office. I always felt that those behind the One World Order were in control of his ascension to the presidency. But we must remember that the only one who truly knows is God, Himself.
