Guns or Health Care?

I mean this sounds like a no-brainer to me. One saves people, the other kills them.

I don't support "free" health care though. Both are rights though if you pay for them though. You are going to need health care if you get shot though.

In Australia there's great health care services and tight gun laws.

Not sure exactly what the question is, but, you now have health care at the point of a gun.

I don't know that anyone who is benefiting from the ACA, needs a gun pointed at them to make them accept it. and for the record, nobody has EVER pointed a gun at me to coerce me to support it. I'd be willing to bet my next years salary against yours, that nobody has ever pointed one at you for that purpose either.

Face it, in order to claim that healthcare is a right, you need to be able to claim a right to the labor of another.

My rights come from my Creator, not from government, my Creator did not give me the right to the free labor of other people.

your not going to pay for anyone elses health care, thats what you do now with high insurance rates.

taxpayers paying for non-taxpayers. Being taxed to pay for others. And in 2014 when the full law is implemented, watch for the rates to skyrocket for those who actually will pay. For the moochers, it doesn't matter, they will be on medicaid (welfare)

thats already happening, thats why insurance rates are high, it will go down because of "obamacare" more people will get insurance and its not free. rates will go down to compete with the government plan.

that's the lie that the liberals spout. I was at a meeting with our states insurance commissioner, and they projected rates to rise. Right now rates are very low for a 25 year old. around $100 a month. After all this obama care kicks in. the rate will be more than double. probably triple, because the law states that older insured can not be more than 3 times the youngest rate. So the rates are going to skyrocket. And the penalty for not getting insurance is so low that many will pay the penalty, not get insurance till something major happens. then jump on the insurance rolls. So. you are not going to see everyone getting coverage. Just those who will be getting government subsidies (redistribution of wealth) will benefit. If you pay for your own policy at full price, your rate will skyrocket. By the way there already is a government plan. It is expensive even though taxpayers are subsidizing 60% of the premium.
