Given the increasingly uncertain political and economic climate, it’s no big surprise that people are continuing to buy guns in record numbers. However, at this stage it’s surpassed just an issue of being record numbers. We’d say guns are selling like hotcakes, but there might not be market data showing that hotcakes sell this fast.
How rabid is the desire for guns? Three months ago, Ruger Firearms stopped accepting orders for new weapons altogether because they couldn’t keep up with the demand. And if these stock numbers are correct, guns are practically the new gold.

I really have no idea? But say he is $1 Mil backlogged. Ruger is 25+ backlogged. My other guess is that Smith & Wesson is the biggest maker.

Yet I can believe in the increased interest in guns because everyone is feeling very insecure about our domestic situation. As unemployment increase then crimes increase and who doesn't want protection from perps. Let's face it the law usually lets them walk or just gives them what amounts to a slap on the wrist and then lets them walk either sooner or later.
Also all of the angry and degrading political talk has not helped ease the tension one bit.
The talk about Marshall Law being imposed by Le Emperor has not helped one bit; yet who is to say he would not do it.

If you are thinking about buying a gun I would suggest that you go to a reputable gun shop-dealer with a good business record and have them help you find a gun that fits your personal style and needs.
It helps and they are more than happy to help, especially females. Us men are expected to know all there is to know about guns (Really not true; some do, some don't. I don't.), yet a female is not expected to know as much, so the woman is given extra attention.
Not a bad thing at all.
