Given the increasingly uncertain political and economic climate, it’s no big surprise that people are continuing to buy guns in record numbers. However, at this stage it’s surpassed just an issue of being record numbers. We’d say guns are selling like hotcakes, but there might not be market data showing that hotcakes sell this fast.

How rabid is the desire for guns? Three months ago, Ruger Firearms stopped accepting orders for new weapons altogether because they couldn’t keep up with the demand. And if these stock numbers are correct, guns are practically the new gold.

If you think We the People buying guns is a bummer the government is purchasing 450 million rounds of ammunition not for the Defense Department but for Homeland Security. I don,t what they,re getting ready for but I,m sure it isn,t good for us.

It's a good idea to get them while they're hot and still available, because within a year and half, they may be harder to get, if the UN has its way. They're working an arms Treaty, right now:

Because people are beginning to figure out that this sitting president no longer abides by the rules and he will do whatever he wants...regardless of the wishes of the people. I have no doubt if he is re-elected, he will broaden gun control and do everything in his power to eliminate ability of citizens to own guns and to purchase ammunition.

I need much more ammo and a few more guns ! Maybe a 10/22, .30 06, 12 gauge and another .9mm pistol !!! I am getting pissed, cause thanks to Obamas economy, I cannot afford to buy squat. I am trying to do this before November.

Nice, I guess that I choose .9mm cause of lower ammo cost, unlike some, I feel .9mm is plenty effective.

I know....I sell cnc equipment. A customer of mine started making a very nice 9mm but in late 08. Obamas wrecking crew made it tough to get going.

He has a backlog now of over $1Mil and has ordered 2 machines from me. One delivered one in about a week.
