Gun Sales on the Rise: What's to Blame?

Guns sales are up. According to Good Morning America, sales throughout the industry are up anywhere from 30 to 91 percent this quarter, depending on the seller. Cris Parson, who owns a Texas store called the Houston Armory, says part of the reason sales are up is that gun-owners fear the possibility of Obama's second term because "he's never been pro-gun" and will have "nothing to lose."

But that's not it. Parson also blames zombies and doomsday conspiracies, trends spawned by television shows like "Doomsday Preppers" and "The Walking Dead." Of a certain brand of ammunition called Zombie Max, Parsons says, "We can't keep it in stock. It comes in a cool, colorful box with a Zombie on it." What do you think the reason is for higher gun sales? Is it Obama, zombies, doomsday -- or just an increased desire to own a gun?

I vote that it's Obama's fault and his socialistic, and dictatorial administrations policies, and the constant threat of disaming the populace, that is spuring the gun sales. We gun owners want to be ready to protect ourselves from a tyanical government, just like we did back in the Revolutionary War. A heavily armed citizener is good insurance from us becoming a dictatorship run by Obama. Gun sales will slacken of as soon as Obama is defeated in this Novembers election,.

stupid people that do stupid things are to blame, not our presidents. Check your neighbors, and get your own house in order before you point fingers at innocent people. Obama didnt make you buy guns, the need to protect yourself from dangerous humans that make stupid choices made you buy a gun.

like i said read it again, obama didnt make you do anything. dont blame him, i never said he was gong-ho for our protection, i just said that if stupid people would stop doing stupid things there would be no need for guns. read between the lines. your house in order means, dont give me a one sided view to the story until youve read the entire story first. and btw, youre very welcome :)

I think its stupid people because for one, most of the votes are for Obama. Two, the other two options are just as stupid. And three, if people were thinking smarter, they would realize that its for protection for whenever an emergency comes up.

Obama and Hillary have both stated that they would sign the UN resolution to ban all handguns, effectively eliminating the 2nd amendment. I, for one, will not accept foriegn rule over the constitution. If the UN wants my guns, they can have them barrel first.

Now lets see the statistic for beer, redneck hats, and truck sales.

More likely it is because people just got their tax refunds back and have been wanting another gun.

It could also be a result of idiots that think the Trayvon Zimmerman incident will lead to knew gun laws even though Obama has not made any new gun laws and has shown no intention of doing so.

The only zombies out there are the brain dead tea party idiots that still believe the tea party leaders care about them.

The U.N. Resolution that Hillary has agreed to join, Obamas unspoken stand against the constitution. This is just a tip of the iceberg. Awhile back when the ammunition manufacturers were curtailing the production of popular ammo it was ordered. Not a production problem. Now it is reported it is being stockpiled by the government.
