Group Sues NJ Over Pulling Out Of Cap And Trade Program?

~ The Rebel ~ 2012/06/10 02:51:36

The Natural Resources Defense Council and Environment New Jersey has filed a lawsuit against the state of New Jersey because they have pulled out of a 10 state climate initiative, known as Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI).

It is a cap and trade program. We recall what Barack Obama said about cap and trade in 2008 during the campaign.

Under my plan of a cap and trade system, electricity rates would necessarily skyrocket…even regardless of what I say about whether coal is good or bad, because I’m capping greenhouse gasses, coal power plants, natural gas…you name it…whatever the plants were, whatever the industry was, they would have to retro-fit their operations.

    NorthJersey.com reports,

The suit argues that Governor Christie violated state law when he did not seek any public comment or input before pulling New Jersey out of the program last year.

Christie administration officials said Wednesday that they did not violate state law and that they have no plans to rejoin the coalition, called the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative, or RGGI.

RGGI is a cap-and-trade program adopted by nine Northeastern states. Power-generating companies in the participating states must purchase credits through public auctions for every ton of carbon they emit. Revenue from the sale of credits goes to the states to invest in renewable energy programs.

    In other words ..
the NRDC and ENJ are ticked off ..
that Christie thought better of the Taxpayers ..
that they were paying enough already in taxes ..
and wouldn't give into this Ponzi Scheme ..
    that benefitted the few ..
at the Expense of the many (State Taxpayers)

    and decidedly stated NO WAY
    NO HOW
NO to any more $$$$$$$ being FLUSHED down the toilet on these 'schemes' ..

(now NRDC and ENJ are engaging in Law-Fare .. using the Legal System to issue their THREATS .. (and attempting to line their pockets at the same time .. ))

Isn't it interesting how the schemes seem to be able to afford LAWYERS .. so easily?

CAP and TRADE IS ONE MORE WAY to RIP OFF and BANKRUPT the

MIDDLE-CLASS-TAXPAYERS--in OTHER WORD, ELECTRICITY RATES WILL

SKYROCKET YOU CAN'T PAY YOUR BILL, but YOU AREN'T QUALIFIED to BE ON

    the GOVT-UTILITY-SUBSIDY-PROGRAM-... because the

GOVERNMENT RANKED YOU ABOVE the POVERTY LEVEL, THEREFORE, YOU

MUST, INSTEAD CONTRIBUTE TO the SUBSIDY PROGRAM.

    Christie is THE MAN!
    Obi is Mooch's bitch.
And China's, and Saudi's, and Russia's, and Brazil's, and anybody else who isn't America.
Except America's allies. He hates them as much as he hates America.
