You need to look at different sources from around the world. If you would actually watch daily broadcasts from outside the US, you will not be able to deny that they have a very different perspective from US sources.
A lot of different sources around the world are run by governments.I really do not care which ones,they all have an agenda and very seldome is that agenda aimed at getting the truth out to the world.
But by listening to the different perspectives of the varying sources, one has a much better chance of discerning the truth than if they only listen to the biased media here. There are also a lot of sources on the internet, but they too have "agendas" which make them less than up front and factual in the information they present.
There is at least some truth in every report. You get part of the truth from one source, and another piece of the truth appears in another given from a different perspective, etc.. You have to think more to discern the truth from all the half-truths. The ultra-right wing doesn't tell the whole truth either. Everybody has a spin to bolster their position.
