When anyone can point to any government entity, federal, state, or local, using my money efficiently I will consider it. Granted I will be dead long before anyone can point to government using money efficiently.

Living in Illinois is never a dull moment with the dems running just about everything. I just inherited Tammy Duct-tape-Worth as my Congressman (woman), what a disappointment! She is completely clueless. Our speaker, John Baynor, just doesn't know to use the power of the congressional purse against the left. He appears to have caved into the left's demands; and has become statist-lite. There should be NO compromising! He wants to rid the republican party of the conservatives; tea party members, especially.

He wants to Raise Taxes to Reimburse the Teachers Union Pensions....
The excuse he gives is that it will go to Education and Schools...
80-cents of every dollar for Schools go to Payroll and Pensions...the other 20-cents goes to the Classrooms....
He is NOT Fooling anyone here in CA...

If you're talking about prop 30 and 38, then normally I would vote to increase taxes for schools, but knowing how the state has taken the money in the past and used it for something else, I am voting against both 30 and 38.

Absolutely no... We pay enough in CA.. Until they can take charge of their wasted spending on entitlements, no extra taxes will ever solve CA's problem. I voted NO

Get the Unions OUT of Education and The Gov, and Maybe the State Might turn around, instead of Cities Filing Bankruptcy...

Completely agree, but this state is all about handouts and after this election, it's only going to get worse.. Companies are going to start moving more and more jobs out of the state.. Increasing more taxes is not what this state needed..

Governor MOONBEAM wants us to raise our own taxes to pay for schools, teachers and help balance the budget without one word on cutting expenses. I have already mailed in my ballot and voted NO on all tax increase

You are soo correct. The Unions and the government should never be allowed it be involved in any school system. When they are involved the kids get less of an education

I live in one of the most heavily taxed States. I would much prefer my State government get rid of a whole lot of unnecessary and duplicate programs, get rid of most of the way too top heavy government administrative positions (especially in education) and all the government middle management positions, instead.

Not in Texas. Legislators make big promises when taxes are raised, and most of the time it is for something worthy that most Texans support. Then they use the new revenue for one of their pet projects. I suspect this occurs in other states as well.

California increased its number of state employees by 9.3 percent over the past ten years. That tracks with census data. But the payroll costs of its employees jumped 42.4 percent. Now, Jerry has to pay for the thousands of new bureaucrats. Remember, they all get raises every year.

Frankly.. I don't give a DAMN what Californians do in their own state.. If they haven't learned their lesson over the last 50 years they can all go to hell for all I care.. I gave up on them when they voted "Moonbeam" back into office..

The ONLY thing that I have to say is that when they turn California into GREECE don't come looking to the rest of America to BAIL their state out of the financial collapse that THEY caused for themselves..

Too big to FAIL is just another way of saying that they weren't too big to screw up..

The only thing I will vote for is balancing the budget. That will be qccomplished in one way and one way only! Cutting Spending! Government has no need for greater income. They need to quit spending everything we send them and more! Demand better, America!
