The Supremacy Clause of our Constitution says that
treaties are the "law of the land" and cannot be overwritten by acts of
Congress or acts of the State Legislatures. So IF the Senate ratifies
the UN Arms Trade Treaty that Obama and Hillary intend to sign July 27,
the UN Gun Ban will VOID THE SECOND AMENDMENT!

The UN Arms Trade Treaty seeks to set up an
international agency that will control the availability of arms and
ammunition around the world. This new international body will have the
authority to tell signing nations what they can and cannot sell within
their own borders. In addition, the international body will have the
authority to ban existing guns within countries.

In other words, if the UN decides they don't like your .45 or your 30.06, they can and will ban both the guns and the ammo!

Feel like giving the UN your personal protection weapon any time soon?

How about your hunting rifle?

Time to invest in waterproof canisters to bury extra ammo while keeping plenty at hand. and distributing guns in hard-to-find places around the house. I may buy a cheap decoy gun cabinet and rig it to deter surviving UN Agents from spending more time searching. If they come, I'll eagerly give up my stores of ammo. One round at a time.

When the hell will this country have a politician with the testicular fortitude to tell the UN to pack their sh!t and get the hell out of our country? It staggers the imagination that we supply those America hating, sissified, socialist, a-holes with piles of our tax money so they can sit around on their asses in their posh hotels (that we pay for) thinking of ways to undermine this country.

Obamass and HiLiary have been trying to get rid of our guns. They'd prefer Americans to be unarmed. They're easier to control without a weapon in hand. The NRA has been fighting for our rights, so the two cowards sneak behind our backs and look to the UN to take away our weapons. The vote is July 27th I believe. The Hag and Thief are trying.

I would have voted for Charlton Heston and his "cold dead fingers" quote if I had seen the whole thing. Correct me if I'm wrong "Praise the Lord and Pass the ammunition" was a popular WWII saying.
Call your senators and complain about the UN Gun Treaty.

I already have and he replied that he was aganist the treaty if it in anyway impedes the 2nd ammendment rights marco rubio of fla. It takes 60 vote in senate to ratify a treaty. All 47 repulbican senators oppose this treaty. As of right now they don't have the votes. The big problem is that the treaty well go before the senate during the laim duck session.

Even if the Senate doesn't go along w/ Obie on this he'll push it thru by executive order like he does everything else.

Well he can't approve a treaty by executive order. Only congress can do that. If he did that would definitely grounds for impeachment which i think the congress would definitely take action and put him down and that includes the demoasses. Like you said i wouldn't put it pass him to try it.

With over 100 million gun owners in America, and people purchasing 5 million guns a month. I really feel sorry for the police and military if they attempt to enforce the UN's Gun Treaty in Texas and most of the South, and South West. They'll be facing conservatively 2 million gun owning American resistors. That could be as high as 10 million, depending on the percentage of American who don't go a long to get a long. That's a number that no military in the world can defeat. I'm sorry to hear that it's coming down to all of this.

Hopefully you're right. But I'm going really conservative (worse case scenerio) here,in the event that the government and media bamboozle Americans that it's in their overall best interest to turn in their new UN banned weapons, and everthing is going to be alright.

Even if a large percentage follow that BS, and if only 2-10 percent resist? Then we're still talking 2 to 10 million gun owners. But you're right, it could be as high as let's say 50 to 70 million who won't comply with the UN Treaty. Hopefully, you're right, then the Treay would be impossible to enforce.

True - I am really conservative and could care less if they take my money (taxes) etc... BUT - if they try to take my guns that is where I will draw the line. I won't say how I will do it because I am becoming paranoid with all the GOV monitoring, including the new Drones over the USA that are supposedly to monitor the "bad guys" - the problem is Homeland Security sees us as the bad guys. Sad thing is I am a military officer, but this is one order I cannot obey

It will be a sad day when they come for my guns because someone will die.

I dread the thought of having to shoot someone (as well as dying of course), but there are things in life that are more valuable than life. Liberty being one of them. I will use deadly force to protect my freedom as well as the freedom of my fellow citizens.

You raised a question I just had to have an answer to. In my mind, I knew the answer, but as is my policy, trust but verify. Here's what I found.
Can a treaty override an individual right protected under the Constitution? In its 1957 decision in Reid v. Covert, the Supreme Court held that the "obvious and decisive answer to this, of course, is that no agreement with a foreign nation can confer power on the Congress, or on any other branch of Government, which is free from the restraints of the Constitution." (1) There is perhaps no element of the foreign relations law canon more universally held than the proposition that constitutional rights prevail as against inconsistent international agreements; a consensus of commentators, (2) courts, (3) and other constitutional actors (4) has long held that, in this respect, the Constitution stands supreme. Even as other elements of modern foreign relations law have come under vigorous assault. (5) this constraint on the treaty power has gone unchallenged. Indeed, across the political spectrum, the rule is counted among those whose deep entrenchment eliminates the need for justification--so much so that it has attracted almost no scholarly attention in recent decades.

Oh I am not saying the threat isn't real. The Globalists know they have to destroy the American people and the Constitution which we live under. As we have witnessed under the current occupant of 1600 Pennsylvania Ave, he has no problems stretching, violating or misinterpreting the Constitution for he and his minions agenda. I am just informing those who may not have the legal position so that when our Constitutional "Professor"-in-Chief attempts to once again circumvent it for his agenda we will have some facts.
