We have seen slow but steady improvement under Obama. It's not happening as fast as any of us would like but the austerity, program cuts, military build up, more tax cuts for the wealthy and increased taxes on the middle class will throw this country into a downward spiral we haven't seen since 1929. We will go bust and Americans will literally die from lack of healthcare, food, housing, and educational opportunity.

A nation on the brink?... so that is the latest "buzz phrase"?. Oh yes, let's all repeat after the popular conservatives.

    I see a slow recovery.

The Republicans always promote fear to scare people into voting for them. Remember how many times the spouted terrorism during the Bush years and how unsafe we would be if Obama was elected.

I see a rebound although it will still go slow but there are many factors to take into consideration

We are on the brink. The brink of destruction and bankruptcy.
$16 TRILLION in debt. 8.3% unemployment. MILLIONS on welfare and food stamps.
    23 Million out of work.
No end in sight. Just where is the rebound.

What? 1.7% Growth??? We need 2% just to stay EVEN.
I seen nothing but despair and LIES from the Obama Administration.

By the way. Next time ask you question in a more understandable manner.
I disagree that there is a rebound.
I agree that the Republicans are correct in their assessment.

I don't know what Dems are looking at, but with 23 million Americans out of work there's definitely not a rebound at this time. Obama hasn't got the answer and the sooner he's gone the better off we'll all be.

I agree that we are on the brink. How could anyone see a recovery when we are $16 Trillion in debt and climbing? If we don't do something about government spending and the deficit we are on the way to total financial collapse. To think Obama offers anything that would save us is delusional. His policies will only lead to our demise. Romney has the right plan: jobs, jobs, jobs! That will be our salvation.
