GOP delegates sue to be free from Romney

over 120 delegates to the Republican National Convention have joined a
lawsuit against the GOP arguing they have been illegally coerced into
choosing Mitt Romney for the party’s presidential nominee and demanding
they be “unbound” to vote for another candidate instead.

The federal lawsuit, filed this week in U.S. District Court in
California by mostly supporters of Ron Paul, demands the delegates be
freed to “vote their conscience” for presidential nominee at the party’s
August national convention in Tampa, Fla., rather than being “bound” to
vote for a certain candidate, as many state party bylaws require, based
on the primary elections and other delegate selection procedures

Isn't it amazing that there are some good potential candidates in both parties but they both seem to gravitate to the biggest losers in each party, Obama & Romney.

The DELEGATES are supposed to VOTE FOR THE MAN THAT WON THEM IN THE ELECTION. THE PEOPLE THEY REPRESENT SHOULD REPLACE THEM IF THEY ARE NOT WILLING TO COMPLY.

The two party system is a sham. The fact that private parties can pillage the entire nation but a well organized and well informed voting block can't pillage those parties is hypocrisy. Turnabout is fair play. The GOP (and in theory the Dems as well) and its enablers have no right to complain when others use their tactics against them. If monopolies are inefficient and immoral in business, they are are downright evil in politics.

The delegate may not have supported him because their constituents protest. They are likely being told to support him because their govenor wants to show mutt he can deliver the state. Boils down to surrendering your vote for free if u do it. Sounds like there is a lot of doubt there, why would anyone be supprised?, just listen to him sometime.

wrong , the delegates are the ones who stay late and organize to get nominated and elected as delegates after the non binding beauty contest. I love the double standard, when Ron Paul wins it's irrelevant, when Romney cheats it's irrelevant, but when Ron Paul supporters beat the establishment by their own rules, it's all caps mock outrage.
