GOP convention team reaches out to women, vets and Hispanics. So with the GOP platform will women, vets and Hispanics reach back?

bob 2012/08/29 20:41:33
With the GOP platform, are you kidding?
The Tiger said to the lady: you can ride on my back, so off they went. Latter the tiger came back with a big smile and the lady was riding inside.
Republicans "don't care about the women, Hispanics and veteran community, accept when it’s voting time then the Republicans give good lip service
Romney and Ryan desire the republicans to get back on track to make the rich wealthier at any cost to women, vets and Hispanics
So with the GOP platform will women, vets and Hispanics will not be reaching back
So with the GOP platform, only the foolish women, vets and Hispanics will reach back

People who believe in America and our constitution and who have confidence in the domestic free market to grow the economy thus grow tax revenues, has nothing to fear from this platform. Most of my Latino relatives agree with me too.

Are you kidding? Romney wants Hispanics to self deport, they don't want to give a helping hand to college kids to go to college, They want to make women who are raped and become pregnant to have the baby. They want to outlaw all abortions regardless of circumtances. Why would they want to vote for either of them. As for Veterans neither have mentioned the war going on, and are even ready to follow Israel into war without a thought to how it would effect the U.S.

0WEbama has done soooo much good hasnt he?

He armed the Mexican drug cartels and pissed away BILLIONS on 'green' energy SCAMS. Seems you prefer the most economically inept pResident in United States history over a proven and easily verifiable financial success that has SAVED OR CREATED LITERALLY MILLIONS OF JOBS.

I was a potential supporter of Romney...and even defended him to others....then he released his sketchy plan to "balance the budget"....by taking one of Bachmann's gaffes and putting it to use.... He wants to reduce the deficit by putting a financial hurt on disabled Veterans..... among others who have earned their benefits.....

Social Security Recipients and Disabled Veterans are not taking charity off the government. Both have paid for their benefits......

I cannot support a platform that strips the very people who invested their money, under a compulsory deduction scheme, and who served their country in war and shed their blood sacrificing their futures for the good of America.

And I damn sure cannot do it...when the highest paid people in the country are getting preferential tax treatment....

Hey Bob...somebody is messing with your programming. Some of us (me) can't make a statement because it blocks us out...what's up with that?
Women? As a Xmormon I know poor Ann is just a mormon squaw( a mormon term dating back to the 1890's) and her pitiful, whiney, cutsey, canned, pretentious outreach to women is just that: pretentious and a ploy to fool the stupid who Lincoln claimed you can fool all the time. Then, the fatboy, triple-chinned hogman saying his mama told him....Respect...no love...that's friggen dog whistle to the "corps"( or corpse if you know what I mean) meaning slave the rest, such as, the middle class, trying to feed the idiot, young, republicans, as though he was a bully with a good idea...(yeah, right). On a human scale, these "bullies" are "punk" and it's not appealing to those of us who can't stand bully-punks.. And the chic....she's just a squaw.

A ball of confusion.. Christie in the keynote address said "We are not afraid. We are taking our country back.

We are the great grandchildren of men and women who broke their backs in the name of American ingenuity; the grandchildren of the Greatest Generation; the sons and daughters of IMMIGRANTS the brothers and sisters of everyday heroes; the neighbors of entrepreneurs and firefighters, teachers and farmers, veterans and factory workers and everyone in-between who shows up not just on the big days or the good days, but on the bad days and on the hard days.

Each and every day. All 365 of them.

We are the United States of America.

Now we must lead the way our citizens live. To lead as my mother insisted I live, not by avoiding truths, especially the hard ones, but by facing up to them and being the better for it.

We cannot afford to do anything less."

So its about immigrants, second and third generation. That will exclude a bunch of ethnicities who were part of the "huddled masses, and all of the masses that were huddled, and many others who's ancestors were here from the beginning.

Then live your life according to the U.N.s. Because that is just where Obama and Hillary are taking you. Can you not see that Obamas party has become the party of freeloaders. And they weaken the entire fabric of this country. Inflation is sky rocketing under this administration. Republicans are not making any rules for you to live by. They are the defenders of the Constitution.

Anti gay, anti abortion, anti muslim, anti tax, anti education, anti social security, anti medicare. I wasn't aware those were in the constitution. Exactly what page was that on?

Anti gay not. They support traditional marriage. The problem is the terminology. Taxpayers should not be required to pay for abortion funding plain and simple. It's not anti Muslim it's anti Islamization. Privatize SS and Medicare. And your right none of it is in the Constitution so what the hell are you talking about.

Same here. I was in HAMS-14 and served on the Coral Sea, and was there during the bombing of Haiphong Harbor. Went to college on the GI bill, and worked all my life. I completely reject the notion that we should cut spending (every social program in sight) without raising taxes on the upper 5%, who own half of everything in America. The 70% tax bracket needs to be brought back, and loopholes eliminated. How the hell did Robme get $100 million in an IRA anyway? At a maximum contribution of $6000/yr, it would take 1,666 yrs to put in that much money.
