Good Job Obama, keep up the good work and keep pissing off the RWNJ's, build our Unions back to the strength they once were when American was the srongest and most Admired country on our Planet, Give hard working Americans that break their backs for the greedy ass Repubs, Give them back the voice and pay, and health care we all used to have. The vacation pay, the sick leave, the overtime pay that Unions brought to the middle class of this country. If the greedy wants the chinese crap that flood our markets, well how about we ship them to China and leave our good paying jobs in America.

Today Obama stopped at the Dover Air Force Base to salute the caskets of fallen US Military soldiers as they returned to the US from Afghanistan.
As a leader, it is important that he set the tone for nation in our attitude toward our military heroes. However some disparage the president for making a photo op out of it. This is an unavoidable consequence of displaying leadership, you have to photograph and record the event so it can be shared. However acting as a leader is far more important than avoiding appearance of a photo-op.
I was certain that Bush also honored the fallen soldiers, so i googled it. I was very surprised by the response.

Here is a screen shot of the search at the time of this blog:
Bush's policies were to allow the nation look the other way at the cost of war. The cost to the wifes and children of these fallen soldiers. That is what he decided to do, right or wrong. Obama has decided to embrace all aspects of our wars. And to take time and stop to honor them.
It is the least our president should to. It should be a requirement that the Commander-In-Chief face the consequences of his commands on those under his command.

All the right wing blogs are still there, they are not altered, if they have some articles about bush honoring fallen soldiers, its out there. Maybe if you search with different words you might find something.
My only point is that when searching for Bush, i found more stuff about Obama. That is all.
Neither did Obama, it is the media that focuses on Obama and not the troops. Obama did not control the presence of the media at this transfer, it is up to the families, and he was with many families that did not want any cameras there. Just so happens that one family did.
Speaking to the relatives
By many accounts, it was a difficult night.
After a 40-minute helicopter ride around midnight to the Delaware base where U.S. personnel killed overseas come home, Obama went immediately to a chapel to speak with relatives of the fallen. Their loved ones had died just two or three days before.
Of the 18 fallen Americans on the C-17, 10 of them — including three Drug Enforcement Administration agents — were killed Monday when a U.S. military helicopter crashed returning from a firefight with suspected Taliban drug traffickers in western Afghanistan.
That some how bush moved around the country and did things that the press had no idea of? that is a truly remarkable and unintelligent thing to propose.
The last time a Elected Official of Executive power went somewhere and did something that the press did not know about was South Carolina's governor Mark Sanford, who was, as you know "hiking the Appalachian trail."
The media black out on this lil state governor caused the media to all but guess dead on about his impropriety.
Their is nothing these officials do that is not in the eye of the media. Sorry bush simply ingored the fallen soldiers and the true cost of his war of choice.
Edwards was a lowely senator. Sanford was a governor.
