Search engine titan Google announced Saturday its new “Legalize Love” campaign to pressure countries where it has offices to give gays, lesbians, bisexuals, and transgenders more rights and recognition.

Google’s Mark Palmer-Edgecumbe, head of the company’s Diversity and Inclusiondepartment for Europe, Middle East and Africa regions, spoke at the Global LGBT Workplace Summit in London, where he rolled out the “Legalize Love” campaign that will run in countries where homosexual activities are illegal or same-sex relationships are not legally recognized. The Fortune 500 company officially launched its gay activism campaign in Singapore and Poland on Saturday. It plans to expand the initiative to more countries that don’t legally recognize same-sex relationships and where it has offices, in the future.

We want our employees who are gay or lesbian or transgender to have the same experience outside the office as they do in the office,” said Palmer-Edgecumbe, reported Dot429, a site for LGBT professionals. “Singapore wants to be a global financial center and world leader and we can push them on the fact that being a global center and a world leader means you have to treat all people the same, irrespective of their sexual orientation.”

Google is obviously run by a multiple group of different orientations within its people. Google doesn't discriminate it so they get a +1. I'd give them a hundred +1s if they sold Youtube to people that knows Youtube, from when it was made to when Google started to suck its blood money and make everything go wrong. That way, Youtube can be returned to its glory years before Google laid its corporate hands on it.

The attempts to brainwash and indoctrinate never cease. We are surrounded by those who wish to turn us into a nation of disgusting , debauched, and depraved degenerates.

LOL of course! Because as long as the brainwashing and indoctrination is something that YOU agree with.....it's A ok ; )

This is such a tired argument from both sides. The gay community as well as conservatives and liberals. Can you just admit that people have different points of views and that just because they express them and tell other people about them and raise their children to OMG be just like them. Is NOT indoctrination.

Because if that is the case then every world religion, every political group, everything and everyone with an agenda is an indoctrination in progress. People are going to believe what they want to believe. If they choose to ignore evidence or facts or whatever......that is their issue.....not a cop-out that they are just indoctrinated.

I will admit that there is a lot of false information out there.
Gays etc ought to live their lives in peace and quiet.

However, they need not be covered by special legislation, like hate crime laws; nor should they have the privilege of marriage.

Well, as I obviously disagree with your stance. I would have to say that I support your ability and right to live and preach it. I just wouldn't go so far as saying that you are indoctrinating people to see the things the way you do.

You are who you are, I can argue and debate, but ultimately you are going to believe what ever it is that you want to. : )

I am not indoctrinating anyone. However, you are indoctrinating people to see as you do, which is wrong.

    Wow! Really?

    "I am not indoctrinating anyone."

Did you not read my comment? Or did you just decide to completely ignore it? Here I will re-post it for ya.....

" I just wouldn't go so far as saying that you are indoctrinating "

Which means.....I dunno....I don't think that you are lol

    On another note........

"However, you are indoctrinating people to see as you do, which is wrong."

The only thing that I said is that I disagree with your stance, nothing else, you have NO idea what I believe, who I am, what I do, how I do it etc etc etc.....however you label me as indoctrinating people?

My point which apparently went straight over your head was just because people have different opinions and speak out about them, raise their children by them, talk with friends about them. DOES NOT constitute indoctrination. People are going to believe what they want to believe, nothing much else to that. : )

Well I am sorry I wasn't able to get my point across more clearly. But I have pretty much stood by what I believe. We may disagree, but I don't think it wrong that you think differently than me.

We all have our reasons for believing what we do. It's understanding that we live in a country that allows for everyone to have a voice and everyone to have a say. Even if we disagree, they have a right just as you and I to do and say as they please as well. That.....is the hardest part to get.

No society, at any time in history has ever sanctioned same sex marriage. Now, this means way before Judaism and Christianity it was not approved. There is a natural order of things and same sex marriage is against the laws of nature.

That's too bad that you'll no longer be able to use:

    Google search
    Google Maps
    Google Chrome
    Picasa (Image editing)
    Google Earth
    Android (Mobile software)
    Orion (Web search)
Youtube (No more videos for you)
    ITA Software

Or any of the other 150 sites/programs that Google owns.

I'm sure they'll be very sad to lose you. Of course they gain about a million new people a day and keep buying new websites and creating new practical programs which you won't be able to use without knowing that you're supporting gay rights.

You have no valid proof we're all "perverse"
I'm not a pervert, most of us arent. and just being LGBT doesn't make us perverts. Shut up with the damn stereotypes and bigotry.
It makes me sick homophobes these days. I'll be glad the day its legal everywhere.
