If Glenn Beck is the man of the moment, where does that leave Rush Limbaugh?

What Rush has accomplished is untouchable. He basically made AM radio what it is. His market is huge. I love Rush. He's dead on. Glenn appeals to the humorous, passionate, loud spiritual side of me. Glenn does more than commentate on the news. He reacts. I know jt, I haven't answered anything. Who else is gonna by the Time issue just because?

Actually, I think both are about the same. They both speak the truth, whether people really listen and believe them. Rush is the MAN, but Beck is the MOMENT. I loved the article about Beck in Time (Sept. 18th issue) and his comments about Freedom Tower. In fact, I blogged about it @ greatinfotips.com. Beck is dead on in his assumptions. Rush and Beck in 2012!

Glen Beck has more pull because he doesnt come off as an angry right wing nut job. People respond to him very well.

I think Rush Limbaugh better represents the right-wing.

Beck isn't to be discounted, but his views align more with the Christian right than with the right-wing overall. Of course, I'm not a part of the demographic in question, so my opinion might be irrelevant. Maybe.

I think Glenn's more of an entertainer in the same league with Stephen Colbert, and I think Rush is either a moron if he believes what he's actually saying (like the black kids beating up the white student on the bus, and saying it's Obama's fault. Or calling Obama a druggie 'cause one of his relatives was an herbalist), or a genius for using shock factor by saying such ludicrous and nonsensical things, thereby boosting his listener-base.

Rush in all of his brashness is always right on point. He says what he means and he means what he says, a concept liberals have difficulty with, Glenn, whats not to love? He again is about facts. he is really a patriot no matter what his leaning.
He inspired us to wake up and continues to inspire us to remain awake, aware and active in our country's future, that is what liberals hate about him.
I always say there is a measure to a man, they both measure highly in dedication to preserving truth.

Glenn Beck isn't a republican, he is a patriotic independent who speaks the truth. Rush Limbaugh, on the other hand, is an egotistical, self-centered bastard who lies, says outrageous things, and lies.

He gloated over Ted Kennedy's death because the man had different opinions from him! He said "I hope Obama fails!" That isn't proof enough for you? He hopes the country is screwed over so that he can "win" and be "right" about Obama, just to inflate his very big head even more!

Did you hear him gloat over Kennedy's death? Did you hear all of what he said when he said "I hope Obama fails"? I heard what he said as I was listening, and what he said was taken out of content.

Well I guess we'll have to agree to disagree! What I mean by "succeed" is actually turn out to be a good president. If he is a BAD president, then this country will be fucked. Two bad presidents in a row will cause America to collapse, and that's what Rush Limbaugh seems to want! But America won't collapse because Obama will turn out to be a good president.

No it doesn't. If socialism succeeds, then the country will be a new one. If it fails, then we'll have to go back to capitalism and eventually fail.

Tom, the majority of the people in this country do not want socialism. Does that matter to you, or do people like you think it's ok to shove it down our throats? This country is not in trouble because of capitalism, it's because too much money has been going out to "social" programs. Programs such as Fanny May and Freddy Mac. If you want to see how socialism works, you might want to visit a country like Norway. A friend of mine was there last year and told me that it cost 50 dollars, (I'm not making this up) for a hamburger from a restaurant. Almost everyone lives in very small houses, and pay around 60 % of their income to taxes. They get "free" education, and "free" health care, paid for with taxes. After getting the so called free education, many people leave the country to go to countries where they can make a good living with out paying such high taxes.

My take on it is that Rush is more of a Republican, though he does criticize them if he disagrees (something I never hear liberal hosts do when a democrat is in office), he stands more with what he believes about the party platform.

Glenn is more of an average American who has taken interest in what is going on in the world around him. He comes across more as an independent that does Limbaugh. Glenn, I think could be categorized as more of a Libertarian (similar to Neil Boortz), but I don't really think he has endorsed any party.

My idea of a perfect party would be one that is mostly conservative on fiscal issues, libertarian on social issues and completely liberal when it comes to loving others. That being said, these two guys are to be respected because they are doing what the lapdog media refuses to do, inform Americans and let them decide.

Rush in on the right. Glenn I think leans more towards a libertarian approach though he strikes me as conservative in some ways. Glenn attacks republicans as well as dems...to him its all about corruption and what those douchebags in DC are doing to our country.
I like 'em both. They be my homies!

Why? Does hearing the truth anger you? If you listened with the open mind you on the left claim to have then you would understand that Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck are right and you on the left are wrong.

    Liberals run on EMOTIONS
    Conservatives run on COMMON SENSE.

    Read a few books:

Mark Levin : LIBERTY and TYRANNY
    Glenn Beck ~ COMMON SENSE

Of course you won't because you would finally see the light and no liberal ever takes the responsiblity of admitting they are W.R.O.N.G..

OPEN MIND << LIBERAL MOTTO we'll see.

You are so right. Liberals have always had a problem with hard facts and real truth. They fear their own failures failure, fear is a terrible thing, it leads to ignorance then stupidity rears its ugly little head. Oh, Nancy?.. oops off point.. sorry...
