Glenn Beck is turning in his chalkboard and bottling up those tears.

Yes, that's right, the passionate conservative talk show host will be ending his daily Fox News program "Glenn Beck" later this year.

A joint statement was announced Wednesday by Fox and Mercury Radio Arts, Beck's company.

Though the statement doesn't mention the exact date of the departure, it does say that Fox News and Mercury Radio Arts will work together in the future.

I think he has done a tremendous service to the country in stating the history most people do not know. I think he's done what he wanted to do. My only concern is I think "a completely different" point of view will begin in his old Fox time slot. If so, Fox loses another viewer (me)~~!! I have long since stop watching Bill O'Reilly with his PC defense of the Odumbat WH. Not much left except Hannity and Greta - at night. Just my opinion.

He was going on national tv discussing conspiracy theories like they were fact.....theories are not fact....and he was twisting those theories to make them sound like the Libs and dems were the bad guys. Since when an ultimatum of resign or we fire you been considered just leaving a company? He knew his days were numbered as he continuously lost sponsors and Murdoch only kept him afloat because he needed its gullible followers to go vote on elections. Since 2012 is too far ahead it was clear that it was now or never.
Anyone wonder if he will follow the lard@ss Limbaugh path of getting richer on the radio? ya betcha.
