i know no one is perfect and, i know that jihad had two different meanings. one is a personal /spiritual battle and the other is a perversion of the koran teachings...just as some twist the meaning of the bible to justify certain evil...there is an old saying, even the devil can quote scripture to suit his needs. i have known muslims who i have eaten dinner on nights during ramadan , when they break the days fast with me. so while knowing that every muslim is not a terrorist, there is no denying that most terror in the world are carried out by muslims in the name of Allah. i have no problems with muslims until certain ones give me a reason to. same as any other. peace be unto you.

I don't think all religions are a cancer, but there are some that certainly are. Buddhists don't blow themselves up, or force their beliefs on the world.

As long as people don't try to shove their beliefs down my throat or use religion as a way to gain money over faith, i'm cool. Unfortunately this is what religion has become today.

I just read that there is no "evidence" of the 11 yr old girl having burned the Qur'an. Authorities said that a crowd of approximately 600 gathered around this child's home so they took her into custody to "protect" her.

The article also said that since nearly no one in Afghanistan can read, that whenever they see Arabic they "assume" it's the Qur'an.

Talk about spin!!!! But, it's a good spin as long as don't harm this kid.

All religions are equally absurd and cancerous. The religious superstitions, sky friends, fairy tales are a detriment to reason and common sense.

Religion is a huge entity that shapes the lives of probably the majority of the earth's inhabitants. This is an example of bad religion but there are examples of good religion too. Martin Luther King is an example of the effects of good religion. It is a shame so many get carried away over minor issues.

The cancer, in this instance; is not a religion.

There's no doubt that religion has started more wars than politics, but I'm not sure that you can include ALL religions in being a cancer. Of all my friends and neighbors, I don't know the actual religion of any of them. I know some go to church, but I can't tell you where. But if a Muslims family moved into the neighborhood, I would recognize them immediately and I would equate them with nothing good!

If this child is harmed in any way, regardless of her mental capacity, then it means that a piece of paper with ink on either side is held in greater value than a human being. And that is just unbelievable. Can you imagine YOUR God directing you to kill your child because he/she burned some paper? The Holy Qu'ran is an evil book.

Not all but many yes any that try forcing their beliefs or kill because of them. Not every single Muslim and Christian are bad but the conservative fundamentalist ones are. Never had a problem with the less socially conservative ones though.

Most have at one point but not every single sect of every religion is harmful the more open minded followers usually change the religion to be less harmful while the close minded ones do the opposite. I can't think of any of the modern pagan groups doing anything though but there's probably been a couple groups that did something idk glad to see your back on SH though;D
