Arizona Rep. Ted Vogt recently addressed Arizona Bill 2549 that
passed the House Thursday and is now awaiting the governors approval.

This Bill, now set for approval is very dangerous to almost
anyone who uses an electronic devise. In fact, so dangerous it could
land you in prison for 25 years for essentially hurting someones
feelings on the internet.

Ted Vogt is offensive whenever he says something that gets on the internet, maybe it would be a good thing if he were locked up for 25 years, as OLD as he is maybe it would be a life sentence... What ever happened to the requirements of enacted laws to be in compliance with the Constitution?, This law will cost the Arizona public many hundreds of thousands if not millions to enact, defend, retract, and then provide for reparations of the legal actions. Rep. Ted Vogt should be impeached for being an idiot. It sure is a good thing that there are no laws that can be enacted ex post facto.

Probably needs to be reworded. But we know there arer bullies and stalkers that have caused harm to others that deserve spending some time in jail.

Well, she already signed into law a ruling that says that women are pregnant 2 WEEKS BEFORE THEY CONCEIVE, so her signing this wouldn't surprise me.

So that bill will stand for places like SH? There are a lot of those types on here, but I would not want them arrested. I do believe in freedom of speech. If someone wants to be an a-hole, he is only hurting him or herself. Government needs to stay the hell out of our lives and OUR internet. We take care of our own.

Anytime a law like this passes, it will be used in ways it was never intended. I can see this having a chilling affect on opinions in general. Maybe this is an offshoot of political correctness: Be nice or pay a price.
