The couple are Bosnian Roma, not Bosnians, not Croats, nor Serbs (huge difference).
Also, there are several inconsistencies to this story and is yet to be confirmed what of the story is even true.
1. First it was said she was not allowed any contact with anyone, and that only the whistle-blowing Makalic saw her. It was also stated that's why the police never did anything until they saw the photo.
Later on it is stated everyone knew and saw her being mistreated, harassed and beaten, even from the surrounding villages - and yet no one did anything.
2. There were also some nasty rumors of rape and forced sex with animals - which a medical examination denied.
Makalic is Muslim Bosnian, and the couple is Roma, they've been fighting over the land for quite some time.
Something DID happen there, and I in no way doubt this girl was mistreated and probably beaten, but before launching a lynching expedition, it would be good to have all of the facts.
The info so far is very contradictory.
The worst part is - someone will benefit from this, and it won't be her, the poor girl..

it is a not talked about a lot problem that kidnappings of others .. (not of the clan/group) would occur ..
taken young .. they are hidden ..
there's been 'marriages' .. that are shams too ..
Police should already be taking her DNA for testing ..
and see what the results say ..
