No, it was not a direct order, but a suggestion. AND as a matter of fact, he did cease following and turned back. It was after that, Martin circled back and attacked. Had he just continued on and went to his destination there would not have been a physical encounter at all.

I don't think it really matters if it was a direct order or a "suggestion"? Look at the end result. Zimmerman wanted to be a cowboy, and I hope he gets what he deserves.

We will never find out all the facts even in trial because Martin is not here to give his side of the story. This stand your ground law does not pertain to Zimmerman because he stalked Martin. In fact Martin was the one standing his ground. He did not want thisd psycho following to his home and put his little brother in danger as he was. There really is no proof that ZIMMERMAN WAS ACTUALLY HEADED BACK TO HIS CAR.That is just what he said.Why was he so close to Martins home? We don't know what Zimmerman did after he was told he did not need to follow Martin. He says he turned back towards his vehicle because he had lost sight of Martin when Martin came up from behind him...but we don't know what really happened.

I agree we don't know what happened but sometimes you can look at someone past actions to predict future behavior..

Only time will tell in the Zimmerman case but because of his past REPEAT behavior of aggression I won't be surprised if that's what happened in this case.

My bet is that Zimmerman gets off completely...self defence...just my bet. He will not be found guilty beyond a dought by a jury of 12 people.

If Martin attacked Zimmerman (which it is looking more and more like that is what happened) then he got what he deserved. Zimmerman had a license to carry his gun, he was in the neighborhood watch, he called the police for assistance, it appears that he stopped following Martin when he was told to and Martin circled back and attacked Zimmerman and got his ass shot...if that is what happened, Zimmerman is not guilty...Martin is!

key word (appears) we dont know that Zimmerman stopped following Trayvon for sure but what we do know is Zimmerman last location when told not to follow was at the club house and the point where Trayvon was killed was feet from his home which is not by the club house. There is definately evidence of Zimmermans guilt or charges would not have been filled. Im guessing it has a lot to do with the location of Trayvons death and the location where Zimmerman claim to stop following.

Well we will never know Martins facts or side of the story and without both sides you can certainly make Zimmerman look innocent with no problem. WE DONT KNOW THAT HE WENT TOWARDS HIS CAR AT ALL THATS JUST WHAT ZIMMERMAN SAID. IF TRAYVON WAS HERE IM SURE HE WOULD SAY SOMETHING DIFFERENT.

Right but we do know it was no where near the club house which is where Zimmerman was at when he was told not to follow any more. This was a big discussion on Nancy Grace right before charges were filled. I believe this will be a big factor that is not going to support Zimmermans whole "Im so innocent and I acted in self defense" routine.......the question is if he had stopped following when told too then how did he get only feet from Trayvons residence and no where near the club house??????
