George Zimmerman Accused of Molestation by Childhood Friend: Smear or Relevant?

I would think that molesting children might be a sign of poor character. But then I don't know the crowd you hang out with.

There is no smear attempt against Zimmerman as there is no need.Whether he has racist beliefs or not cannot be proved and is not necessary.He is not professionally qualified or educated to be able to assess possible criminal intentions and behavior of fellow citizens and possible threats to public security.His telephone call was only to strengthen his intention as he went ahead after he was told not to.For his protection he could have carried pepper spray or a stun gun.He carried a gun and a gun is potentially to kill and he shot and killed an unarmed citizen after stalking him.If we tolerate everyone-all citizens to go around armed and stalking people who they decide look and behave suspicious to justify their actions-God help America.

This whole thing is a joke. Zimmerman is clearly innocent of racially motivated murder so much so that the prosecution has to drag out a story about his character when he was 8? Give me a break!

Child molestation is always relevant. Whether he is innocent of that charge or not, is a different matter. I don't like his comments in that Fox interview, that killing Trayvon was an act of God. I'd like God to act in a similar fashion and jail Zimmerman until he can no longer remember his own name.

No, not true. This case has been nonsense from the start. You dont chase after someone and then claim self defense. Also, this zimmerman has been caught lying again and again, and you defend him because all you can think about is race. Why dont you forget about the color of someones skin, and just pretend it was a relative of yours that zimmerman did this to. You would feel much differently. This is just another Casey Anthony case, and he will walk just like she did.

How do you know anything about the case since you weren't there? I guess the bruises and cuts all over Zimmerman's head were photo shopped? This punk that was shot was not the innocent little child the media portrays him as...and you can research that and verify it.

Why did he follow the kid when he had absolutey no reason to? I am sure he had bruises from fighting. He accosted the child, and the kid fought him. I wonder how you would react if someone was following you and you stopped and said "why are you following me?" Maybe the kid thought he could punch him out not knowing the maniac had a gun. Martin was no kid. He was 17 years old. One year from going to a federal penitentiary if convicted of a crime. The media used a pic of him when he was 12 to get their desired result which was to make people think he was an innocent child. He was 6'2" and big enough to play high school football, his Facebook page shows him in full gangsta mode - flipping the bird with both hands with his pants halfway to his knees.

My grandson is 14, and is black and 6' tall and and has a baby face, but in a hoodie after dark, may look like a grown man. He also thinks it is cool to dress like a thug, but if you sit down and talk to him, there is a scared little kid who is going thru that stage between a child and a man. I hate for him to listen to that rap crap, but I cant stop him. They hear that stuff and think it is great. I saw that picture, and so what? It doesnt excuse Zimmerman from following this kid and killing him.

B.0619 - What point r u really trying to make? No one was there to know what really happened. He was not legal age, which we all define as a youngster. If someone is calling him a kid, he is to someone of adult age, like myself. He took a gangsta pic, so he deserved to be blown away? All we know is he was on property he was allowed to be on, and someone who seemed a little too anxious and concerned followed him even after being told by cops not to, and he was packing a weapon. In the end, Zimmerman got punched or knocked in the face and head, and Trayvon lost his life. Sounds worthy of an investigation to me. If it happened to one of my family members, it's the least I would expect. I'm not even going to say the problem is with Zimmerman having a gun, that is apparently legal where he lived. What I think is a problem is that the original officers just let him go w/o an investigation. The parents fought, and eventually won that right, with the help of public support, and in doing the investigation discrepancies and perjuries were found and now it goes to trial. Sounds like our justice system at work.

There are always going to be those who are looking for there place in the limelight anytime there is National attention that surrounds a situation. This person is just another hitchhiker looking for a free rise to fame.
There is more and more testimony and evidence coming out everyday that SUPPORTS the testimony George Zimmerman has consistently given since the beginning. Yes, it's sad that the "thug" behavior of a teenager who was NEARLY an ADULT, cost him his own life. The fact remains that George Zimmerman was within his rights as a LAW ABIDING citizen to use deadly force when his life was threatened by Trayvon Martin.

If gun supporters keep getting their way at the rate of speed that they have in the last 30 years, by 2050 it will be perfectly legal to shoot someone dead for cutting in line! When does the madness stop?

You really should get your stories from a more reliable source. The woman is actually Zimmerman's cousin, not just a "childhood friend". I'm not really saying it's relevant or a smear, because we don't know if it's true, but something like this coming from a family member is far different than from just a childhood friend. You should at least get the facts straight before you post something like this.

First of all I am Spanish and the remark was tongue in cheek relating to the fact that most hispanic families have illegals in them at some point. Also I noticed a disturbing lack of response to the focus of the question and the laws the jerk did break so far.
