George Soros predicts riots, police state and class war for America

snipe 2012/04/07 21:23:54
He should know since he's the one funding the whole thing!

“I am not here to cheer you up. The situation is about as serious and difficult as I’ve experienced in my career,” Soros tells Newsweek. “We are facing an extremely difficult time, comparable in many ways to the 1930s, the Great Depression. We are facing now a general retrenchment in the developed world, which threatens to put us in a decade of more stagnation, or worse. The best-case scenario is a deflationary environment. The worst-case scenario is a collapse of the financial system.”

Soros goes on to compare the current state of the western world with what the Soviet Union was facing as communism crumbled. Although he would think that history would have taught the globe a thing or two about noticing trends, Soros says that, despite past events providing a perfect example of what is to come, the end of an empire seems imminent.

“The collapse of the Soviet system was a pretty extraordinary event, and we are currently experiencing something similar in the developed world, without fully realizing what’s happening,” adds Soros.

Soros goes on to say that as the crisis in the Eurozone only worsens, the American financial system will continue to be hit hard. On the way to a full-blown collapse, he cautions, Americans should expect society to alter accordingly. Riots will hit the streets, says Soros, and as a result, “It will be an excuse for cracking down and using strong-arm tactics to maintain law and order, which, carried to an extreme, could bring about a repressive political system, a society where individual liberty is much more constrained, which would be a break with the tradition of the United States.”

The recent adoption of the National Defense Authorization Act for Fiscal Year 2012 and the proposed Enemy Expatriation Act, if approved, have already very well paved the way for such a society. Under the NDAA, the US government is allowed to indefinitely detain and torture American citizens suspected of terror crimes without ever bringing them to trial. Should lawmakers Joe Lieberman (I-CT) and Charles Dent (R-PA) get their Enemy Expatriation Act through Congress, the US will also be able to simply revoke citizenship without trial, essentially removing constitutional rights from anyone deemed a threat.

Maybe not but I suggest that Soros and a lot of his like-minded buddies like Piven and their hero Alinsky have done a beautiful job establishing 'Occupy Wall Street' and a lot of 'useful idiots' to start what is a neo-communist 'protest' movement. Maybe the last chance for these 60s left-wing radicals before they pass away?
  • marianne Jay Theyme 2012/04/11 14:56:52
    if it was that simple..
maybe we read different statistics, but latest i checked, the us gini index was about 45, and about 1 in 6 american children live in poverty...
to call all ows supporters idiots in my opinion shows a narrow mind...

Are you working the word 'all' into this to be cute? Well you got me.. geeee... since not 'all' OWS attendants were idiots (just 95%) then I take it all back.

Your poorest citizens are considered wealthy in most of the world. The vast majority of people in the world would be absolutely THRILLED to have the wealthy clothes and cash, public safety, access to health and justice system ALL OWS supporters bathe in.

It doesn't mean there isn't room for improvement. It means there isn't room for smearing feces on it and squealing 'He got MORE than me!' while doing no actual work.

Soros is a bad player... he's wealthy, has an insatiable appetite for more money, fame, power, influence, domination and will stop at next to nothing to get it. He has the patience of Job, he's used to getting what he wants... and on and on and on.

"devil's advocate"... an odd choice of words re: your responses in this particular thread. Especially when it comes to your tacit support and defense of George Soros being as many in the world view Soros as Satan himself...

I'm not much on religion but do read the discussions of many of those who are. They're saying much the same thing about the likes of Soros as many of us who are not practitioners of any particular faith are saying and discussing. George Soros is evil...

If you still feel that curious urge take some time and google information relating to him... follow the threads, the links to other sources. If you're curious... be hungry with that curiosity and read/learn what you can...

In the end, connect the dots. You'll realize he's the messenger... but he's still an integral part of the group.

So, in answer to your question... it's a logical place to start. Start with Soros.

I answered your question. Your turn.

    "Why not?"

    i shall,
it will take a long while, there are so many different sides and sites.
.... still asking..;... he was just a young teenager, 13 years old, and he too would have ended a possible holocaust victim. how sure here everyone is that he did not suffer from ptsd?
  • BwaHa marianne 2012/04/16 15:01:00
I posted my thoughts on this in one of your later posts... PTSD, though a serious challenge can be reckoned with. He chose not to have it reckoned with. IMHO he's content with what he believes.
  • marianne BwaHa 2012/04/16 17:42:55
besides ptsd, ever heard of 'stockholm syndrome',...
when his family was separated, and his identity was stripped, and now he was a non-jew (had to, or else), i thought that he was employed by his new family seizing those possessions.
  • BwaHa marianne 2012/04/17 15:12:36
Studied "Stockholm Syndrome" decades ago. It was around before PTSD was officially recognized. Either way, even if he was a "victim" of Stockholm Syndrome he has had many opportunities to rectify the "ailment" and has chosen to keep the course... staying in his comfort zone. Bottom line... he's has changed for the worse... not for the better. And he has one heckuva bunch of financing and power to throw his weight around. The happiest days of his life was when he participated in bringing about the misery of others. That's his adult view of his childhood.

Enablers muddy the waters. Though you're well intended you should look past the "good" you'd wish on others and see them for what they truly are. Some folks don't like "good"... some choose "evil" over "good" and are more than content with that. Besides, there's less competition being "evil"... far less competition.

I don't see too many folks on here supporting George and his antics.

Soros criticizes the NDAA, which is criticized from both the left and the right.
  • Zippcodey 2012/04/09 03:52:59
They have to have the financial system to collapse to bring in the North American Union with the Amero as the new currency. Soros has to be a Jesuit, when Russia collapsed Pope John Paul 2nd, said that, "They can't stop us now." Soros is pushing the same agenda as the Vatican and Papacy, who want a One World Order, but the 10 World Unions must come first. It's all about putting the Pope in Jerusalem ruling the One World Order, and the soon after battle with Yahweh at His coming.

Ronald Reagan said in a speech at the U.N. that the world must united in case we are attacked by aliens,,,,,,,,,, now you know the rest of the story, Yahweh is coming back in spacecraft and the world will be told we are being attacked by aliens except those who know the truth of His coming.

If he is funding it, it doesnt even matter, the fact of the matter is it is going to frickin happen, what the most devastating point I want to make is we're enabling it cuz we as people sit with our thumbs in our *** saying theres nothin we can do. WAKE UP BEFORE THERE REALLY IS NOTHING WE CAN DO, because our civil liberties are being challenged, theres more citizens than there are military and police, dont let those odds change, pay attention to the growing police forces, damnit AMERICA! It takes more than 1 Person. 1 person will go down for terrorism, were not the terrors, imprison the real terrOrs and STAnD Up DONT BE SILENT LET THE PUBLIC B HEARD OR ELSE...

Soros, the evil genius hard at work. Is it really difficult to report this to us poor peasants? It,s more like it,s hard for him to hold back his enthusiasm. You can bet he had a hidden hand in this behind the scenes . He,s an expert at destroying nations and rebuilding them in his image. He,s already at least one of the most (if not THE most) powerful men in the world and he still lusts for absolute control over everything and everybody.

This person is treading very dangerous waters. Anyone familiar with the law understands this person could go away for the rest of their life for merely ADVOCATING such things. The law also directs that whoever has knowledge of someone advocating such things and does not report it to the feds immediately after learning of it is guilty of "misprision of treason" which can carry a seven year prison term. It can be argued simply reading the post constitutes "knowledge." If the feds want ya' bad enough, they can throw the book at you.
